He planned to use her, BUT
in chapter 8 he says that a classmate was
the only one who approched him first and
his only one friend
the only one he seem to resent, so,
he was betrayed
in chapter 9 she says that he is her first
the first one that approched her and
asked her to be friends
that is when he realizes he is doing what his friend did, so,
he started to care
or at least I hope so.
Me a couple of months ago:
"Honestly, it's my first time that,
even knowing Taeyang is the ml, I didn't felt that he already liked her;
usually the fl is dense, but the reader can sense it, you know what I mean.
So, if for now, she will prefer the other and he will feel rejected, that's ok.
I wanna see him give his all and then, as we all know, he will be the end game."
Since then I have developed the second lead syndrome,
it's not the first time, BUT it's the first time that I didn't felt that the ml really liked her,
he's been soooo quiet, toooo quiet, where is the pathos?! and now
he's so possessive, like he's just showing possessiveness! So, I can't
Yuseong! ┗( T o T )┛

Nasu is the classic second lead that, at most, can give you the classic second lead syndrome.
Also, I've read all sort of shojo, I've always respected all the developments of the stories,
you have to be open to be a reader; because otherwise, what's the point of even reading?
All the labeling with 'need therapy', 'green flag', 'red flag', 'toxic' shows narrow-mindedness.
how is commenting all the last points narrow-minded the fact that many people have read this far is already open minded enough. all the comments here are what the readers THINK of the story, which is the point of the comments section, to discuss the story lmao there’s nothing wrong with expressing sadness about second lead, about how bad/good the plot is and other opinions etc.
idk if you mean to but you sound really pick me here no offense
I don't attack those who comment, generally, but
always labeling "therapy", "green flag", "red flag", "toxic" as a habit
as if the mind was set on black and white (or green and red) is
a sign of narrow-mindedness, for me, and sometimes we should
also consider the culture of the author and the target audience.
I don't mean to sound pick-me, I'm just genuinely complaining.
I hope I'm making myself clear, english is not my first language.

It's based on reality, not his personal story, but the Oxy RB Korea story.
