Today came to my mind an image of a manga a read some time ago. I can't remember the name. All I can recall is a guy falling in the house garden and then going back in time where he meets, I think, his younger son. They fall in love but then he falls again into the future (present). Anybody else currently watching One Piece? It just keeps getting better and better...
I'm one of those unfortunate who didn't get the opportunity to watch the full anime or read the manga, the fact that the anime is over 1000 EPs is discouraging. Didn't it like stopped airing? I thought the manga was completed lol.
It's far from completed haha both the anime and manga. I rewatched about 600 episodes a few years ago, because I only watched it as a kid and wanted to watch it again. It was actually doable, but took a long time.
What episode would you recommend for someone to watch the anime?
I'd start with the very first episode, otherwise you won't get the story because a lot of the stuff that happens early on and seems insignificant has a huge impact on the story later on. However, I suggest skipping the filler episodes (there are filler lists online, just search for them), because their plot is often crappy and they have no impact on the actual story.

I put off watching it for the longest time because its length was too much for me and the artstyle looked weird to me... But a few months ago I just started watching it, and I immediately became obsessed and started reading the manga when I ran out of episodes to watch, and have rewatched my favorite arcs/episodes several times. I really want them to leave Whole Cake Island already and go to Wano
I've been watching it for 3 years now (the anime). lol I'm on the latest episode release 812. It's a great. The manga is good but there are lost of effects missing that you could only see on the anime. The story and plot is great, there are episodes where they make recall from the past which I skipped, but is worth watching. Right now they are trying to save Sanji and I am suffering.
Yeah, I agree. Worth watching from the very beginning and skipping the extra episodes.
I want so bad for the rest of the crew to go help Luffy. But they do take forever to move to one place to another (from enemy to enemy).
I'm still waiting for more episodes to come out before watching again.. I've already watched all 800 ep tho and just can't wait for more.. and I've rewatched it for like 5 times already..
