Chapter 15 is definitely when the big shift happen, there were little things before that but this chapter had the bigger but quiet shift in how he views the teach.

Honestly, as someone with a brother, a Male childhood friend, and as someone who married a childhood friend, how my husband acted towards me growing up is completely different than how my homeboy acted growing up. I couldnt imagine my homeboy acting like mikhail in the beginning of our relationship, so brotherly, just to try to get with me when we are older. The idea of that makes us both cringe. With my husband it never felt cringe, but he never acted brotherly either.
I dont hate Mikhail, he is a good kid, i was supper excited for like a platonic found family dynamic with him and the MC and her family. If he does end up as the ML its whatever ig, it just feels like him pushing to be seen as a brother was an unnecessary dynamic. You dont magically move past the brother dynamic just bc he isnt blood. I just wish authors didnt make the whole brother role so weird. They either always write Siscons or have the ML grow up with the MC acting brotherly just for them to get together.

Im glad tei still needs to fall in love and that that didnt happen when shuraka was still a kid. Im also glad Tei didnt lie about loving shuraka, shuraka needs someone he can trust so that he can open up and be honest himself, and that will allow for more communication i believe, and it would have just created another obstacle for their communication if Shuraka sensed Tei lying abt loving him.

Anyone else have a foreboding feeling about this? Like past the uneasy feeling that there will be death, the ML seems to have some growing feeling that he isnt speaking on, towards the MC specifically. Its hinted at them twice during intimacy. Outside that feeling the whole mood has such a cozy melancholy feeling, like a quiet rainy winter night yknow.
