Very typical shoujo scene. MC becomes the empress and knows she gonna die cuz her husband aka ML is a bitch who's going to choose another woman over her. She claims she gonna divorce his pathetic ass but feels butterflies & blushes like a maiden when he shows her attention when he sees her in her nightdress. It leaves a very bad taste.
Its not really bad or sth but there's no depth or anything. Things are straightforward but characters feel very wishy washy.
If u like soft reads with no toxic bs, I think it is alright. Not my cup of tea tho
This is pissing me off so much. The characters feel so bland. ML is so useless for fucks sake. The plot is ass. Mf goes on a trip with the kinda villain of the story, who mind u, is literally out of revenge for the mc, who is the fiance of the ML??? Gurl what? Drop that ass and go back to the crown prince ffs. If I'd blood pressure, I would've fainted by now. Stupid ass characters and a 2d flat plot.
Was way too funny and way too good in the first half and they made it all angsty and rapey in the second season. It was half assed. One partner suddenly leaves the country altogether, gets assaulted, has mental issues and they kinda get back together, then guy gets assaulted again. They kinda get back together again and then break up cuz they were toxic. Gurl what the actual fuck??????
When I started reading it, I didn’t have any expectations. However, once I started, I kept reading until the very end. The characters feel very real, very human and thats probably my favourite part of the story. The humor too. The characters aren't perfect, they all have some flaws and they feel so real. During the first half of the story, the more I read about Jun, the more I wanted him to be the end game. I got so anxious that I went ahead and spoiled the ending to get rid of the feeling. I was so afraid that the story might potentially follow the same i-fell-in-love-with-my-straight-friend-and-hes-gay-for-me-suddenly. I was genuinely worried about this because yeah...
But my favourite character is definitely Subin. The way he's so beautifully flawed, he's insecure, he's childish, he's kinda stupid but all these things make him so lovable. I really liked everything about this story. Its very hard to come across sth well done like this.
The way the author has portrayed first love and how characters grew and matured, how the characters learn to give each other grace and just how they are all this mess in relationship is very realistic. It is comforting in a way.

There's not much substance to the story but its not that bad as comments are saying, though the sequel seems to be very better as compared to this. I picked it up because I wanted to know what actually happened between the mc n this guy but it's all surface level. Nothing is explained why anyone likes the other person, it just seems random weirdly enough. Like why did the guy suddenly start to like the younger brother? And why did the younger bro like the uke in the first place?? Too bad its not completed either.
