I feel your pain although my situation isn't as bad, I can't really give you advice cause I haven't exactly gotten out of my situation but just hold on.

This doesn't happen everywhere. Just because your parents don't know how to raise a kid doesn't mean we all are suffering.

I belong to a religious family too but forcing someone to do something is just wrong and i'm completely against it. I know it must be hard for you and i hope it gets better but please don't make every muslim parent into the bad guys.

Bruh....I try to educate my not so modern parents about today's way of life (weird phrasing I Kno...) And so far it ok.

My mom gets the whole thing about wanting to stay single and get divorce rather than stay in a toxic relationship. But dad ...he has issues...which is giving me a headache. But whatt I want to say is try to talk with your father one on one and if hes just gets mad and starts to act worse. Baby it's a sign from God. Get the FUQ out! But if you know your father well enough and know he will react badly don't do it. It will do you more harm than good, so instead, plan your moving out.
