It is a good story, and an insight into a less accepting country/culture. I love how each chapter is introduced by their age year too. In a way it reminds me a bit of Momentum, in that the it's a bit more emotionally mature, but Momentum is set in mostly European countries and the USA I think which are obviously more accepting and have things like same sex marriage, rather than 'adult adoption". I guess I found the hospital scene where the MC said he was his the other MC's partner to the doctor, but on paper they would be father/son or brother/brother? to be quite sad and bittersweet, as at least they have some sort of legal protection and are now "family" on paper, but it still isn't right, and people should be able to just get married like they can in many other countries and be respected as equals rather than being forced to adopt their spouse.

I agree with you 100%. I live in a country that doesn't accept LGBT and its quite hard for so many people tbh. Hopefully in the future we will be able to live freely as ourselves

The knot
