Great, it's just another black flag rapist story now. Do authors explode if they don't go the non-con route in their stories ? Season 1 was incredible, the chemistry absolute perfection and now we get this bullshit ? When black flags are assholes from the get go I know to avoid the story but I got so invested and now we're being played by the author. How unoriginal and truly disappointing...

I'm usually not one to get pissed off at red / black flags cause we tend to know which stories go this way pretty early on. I haven't read Code Anastasia or Roses and Champagne because I knew the tops were crazy abusive rapists. However, this was never their dynamic in this story and the change feels so damn cheap. Why write a meaningful story full of chemistry when you can resort to this basic ass trope ? It's so overly done but people seem to eat it up. It just doesn't work here. I used to be thrilled seeing a notification from the story but I know now that the author will mess up what could have been an absolute classic. Truly a waste.
