This manga never stops surprising me. At every turn it subverts my expectations and forces me to look at it's world as more than the romance drama Konoha (Iana) wrote it to be. Honestly, it's a bit of a heartbreaking development, but that's what makes this series so good!

I got to chapter 30 and have to drop. Story and protagonist are lackluster, so say the least. The art is nice, but if I'm rolling my eyes this often, I gotta take the hint. Would not recommend.
The more Shuraka insists Tei does nothing, the harder it is on Tei. He needs purpose.
I'm torn between appreciating that the world of Regas is complex and filled out with many characters and motivations, and frustrated with our main characters getting such little screentime. I'm most interested and invested in Abel. I want to see his story. I like the political intrigue, but it feels like a lot of time is devoted to council scenes that aren't giving us that much information or side characters reacting to what's happening. And then Abel tells us later that he's been doing things in the background. I want to see what Abel's doing and follow him! Would probably be less frustrating as a completed read, but week-to-week makes it a bit painful.
I was feeling stressed for a moment, but watching Karas burn down the council is so satisfying! Love watching this boy go crazy and murderous.
(Also gotta love the BL killed the one female member of the council first. lol)
