Wdym, he, by himself, almost became god and after everyone ganged up on him, he still didn't die and infiltrated a whole damn clan (a big one at that) and almost succeeded QUIETLY the second time had it not been for a genius girl in the clan (ineffable healer). Still, he made yet another intricate plan without raising anyone's suspicion (not even the reader's) and almost succeeded if not because of some stupid accident.

Then he conjured up YET another plan that blindsided the whole realm making them scrambling around not knowing what's going on or what to do next. Tbh, we all knew he needed a new vessel. I, too, knew. And I thought he'd take Cheon Ho's body and then cast the ultimate yin obstruction WITH Soun or he'd find out about the baby accidentally in the process, but nope, he was four steps ahead. HE planted the "womb" to make said baby and he sent Soun there knowing that this would've happened.
