Why is bl turning to absolute garbage? Usually i just stick to what i'm already reading but today i wanted to see some featured works and wow i wish i didn't, is it too much to ask for a bl with an interesting story and a couple that have chemistry without any of that toxic over the top shit? I don't want to see them fucking on the 4 chapter, i want to grow to love the characters and their dynamics, I'm talking 'half of me', 'guiding hazard', 'koimonogatari', hell even 'netkama punch'
Girl literally everything nowadays is just so boring and the plots are all either repetitive or plain smut i miss stories with plotlines that kept me engaged I've been rereading old stories for the last two months because everything new just sucks
In that regard, the featured manga are controlled concensus/algorithm controlled that one. sadly, we have no control over that
can I suggest? definitely convert to novels. They are much more immersive than manhwas these days. Like, too many manhwa adaptations today are badly paces due to the fact they have cut some scenes.

I am so sorry. on these regard.. I am still building to expand my novel knowledge still not an expert to recommend something since I am overload with novels from the badly paced manhwas.
My tip is if you found a possible peak manhwa and there is a novel version. Jump into its novel version. most of the time, it is so worth it

I didn't come with any reccs, but this so real. I told myself I'd never get tired of reading BLs, but atp every BL recc I've come across either has sex in the first few chapters, revolves around sex, has the friends w benefits troupe or has rape. Like are we dead ass rn?
And I don't want the innocent, never held hands before, never kissed before type of characters or shounen-ai, either, but something in between. Like can we please let the character fall in love before making them have sex?
Fr I've been very picky for a long time when it comes to bl, it's so hard to find a bl that doesn't revolve around emotionless sex or rape, tops are mostly red/black flag bastards who deserve to die but nevertheless get a happy ending for the sake of the couple. When I find and finish reading a good bl that I like , I wander on sites and lists for days to find a decent bl, and the bls in those "TOP TIER 9.0 BEST OF ALL TIME YAOI" lists are just toxic and boring af, most lists are bullshit it seems that people are too brainwashed by toxic stuff that they can't tell when a bl is actually good
