This was so cute!
The art is great, the storyline is nice.
At first I was wondering if the ML was in his 30s already coz they made him look old compared to his friends and clubmates but he was like 24-25 so I was confused as to why they made it seem so illegal in the first place. But FL was almost an adult so it wasn’t even that bad of an age gap lol, to call him mister was really funny. The Second ML tho sometimes I wish they ended up together but at the same time I would feel so bad for ML. ML is a literal walking green flag. Did you all see how well he took care of FL when she got her period?! Like at first they made it seem like he dated left and right but he just never said no, and judging by the way he treats FL, looks like he was a good partner in his previous relationships. I honestly just wish they stop making it look like he is WAAAYYYY older than her like guys its not like they're over 10 years apart. Anyway, FL was adorable, ML was such a good guy, and poor second ML but keep up the good work, you’ll find love someday. Also I don’t wanna see no comments about this being related to grooming coz that’s definitely not what ML did. He didn’t even think they’d meet again. He always stopped her advances and even told her she has better options and whatnot so don’t.
First of all, the art never disappoints!
Honestly, I remember not knowing how I felt about Jaekyung’s character in the beginning. He treated EVERYONE like crap, its not like he targeted Dan. Dan just became the one who received that crap the most because he was too soft and was with Jaekyung all the time. Jaekyung was a character with a strong personality and learned to not take any kind of crap from anyone and this was most likely learned behavior from his upbringing. Because if he was too soft and weak, he won’t reach his goal. And if he doesn’t reach his goal, he wouldn’t have anything else going. I’m pretty sure that’s why his previous coach told him that there’s more to just being champion. Its because he noticed that Jaekyung is not letting else or anyone else into his life. But because Dan was such an angel, he kept poking at Jaekyung’s bubble that protected Jaekyung’s inner child from getting any more hurt. Besides, I think he always had a soft spot, he just never knew how to express positive emotions because he was always shown negative ones. An example would be how he was always nice to Dan’s grandma.
Though this is not an excuse to treat another human being the way he treated Dan; I think what matters is that he reflected, repented, and changed. Though it seems like he still have a temper, its nothing compared to before. Dan’s influence on him was a good one, Jaekyung doesn’t show it but the way he looks at Dan’s reaction before making a decision shows that he changed. Jaekyung, the one with the crazy temper and violence being stopped by Dan with either one look or just saying something shows that he cares for Dan and cares about what Dan thinks. And honestly, what matters is that Jaekyung changed, apologized, and has been trying to make up for everything he did and Dan forgave him.
I know Dan deserves better, he was always at the receiving end of these negative emotions and because of that, his own light died out. But during that time, it was Jaekyung who brought that light back. I know people are gonna say “well it was his fault to begin with” and yes I agree, but, I have a feeling that even if it weren’t for Jaekyung, Dan would’ve ended up that way after his grandma passed away. Because Dan has always had a habit of turning to bad vices when he is going through things like how he used to be a heavy smoker before.
I also think that despite everything, their personalities complement each other and like Dan said, they can make up for whatever the other lacks and thats how a relationship should be. But of course, Jaekyung still has a long way to go in terms of expressing his love and feelings properly, but Dan being an understanding angel, I think they will be fine.
I want to see side stories of them but I also want side stories of the side couple too. Maybe something like Dan and Jaekyung finding out lol that would be funny.
Anyway, the drama, plot, flow, character development, and redemption arc of the characters were really good. I know some people hate Jaekyung and says that he doesn’t deserve to be happy, but I think he’s been through enough, same for Dan, its time for them both to be happy whether its with each other or not. And seeing both of their behaviors at the end, it seems like thats going well.
Loved it, especially the second half with the redemption and reflection arc.
I get that FL acts like that because she got hurt before but that doesn’t mean its right to hurt everyone around you.
Chulsoo has liked her for the longest time but she only sees him as a toy. Like she told Dorim how people are either interested in her for sex or interested in her secret but not her. If that was the issue and if thats the reason why she isn’t in a relationship then wth is Chulsoo for her?!
Theres Dorim too, he genuinely likes her and though I would say she treats him the nicest; its probably because he is very “cute younger brother” character and listens to his noona.
I find it interesting that even though Dowon is technically a Dom now, he still Subs for FL. Though I would say I am a little disappointed that him and Jiha didn’t have any progression even after finding out about how Jiha feels and the threesome with FL. Though I think this is a way for Jiha to suffer after what he did to FL.
There was also no resolve with Chulsoo and FL. Because after their falling out, Chulsoo wanted to start over/go to the next level or let everything go and part ways. Them still doing their play would suggest that they went to the next level since starting over would mean they don’t do the play; but it was never mentioned if they got into a relationship or not. Because if they’re not in a relationship, then I feel really bad for Chulsoo.
Though it was nice to see FL’s business take off, that was the only satisfying part of the ending. It didn’t show if FL actually reflected on her behavior (she’s pretty toxic especially with Chulsoo, though I do applaud her for being straight forward when it comes to what she expects and tells them to leave whenever they want to) and what the relationships are in the end.
It was a interesting story with a pretty good ending. Though they love each other, we can definitely see that keith actually fell in love with della despite everything he did and I kind of question if this love started from a positive emotion or if its because he got used to him being around. Because thinking about it, henry made him blush in the beginning because he was being sweet which is honestly a better approach, and though keith was being used by everyone, i would say that henry still had more pure intentions than his father or della. Though everyone was messed up, I guess if they’re happy then they’re happy. And maybe della did need keith in his life, because though he is twisted, he still did fall in love with keith in his own way and keith already knows that della expresses his love differently, so i guess all that matters is that the feelings are mutual and they understand each other. Though i’d say keith is way more understanding and actually tries to teach della how to love him. Honestly, keith is the only green flag in this story. Though one can argue that henry could have been a green flag, i feel like he would have turned his feelings to obsession later on based on his last mindset and behavior. Though he wouldn’t have been as bad as della, the only way henry would turn into a green flag is if keith showed him affection and chose him from the start. But yeah happy ending.
Also keith is cool as heck, definitely power bottom in the sense that he doesn’t just let anyone walk all over him.
The art was nice, the plot was good, and character development was also good. Romani definitely deserved a harsher ending considering everything he did.
Seven’s character definitely matured compared to the beginning. Felix’s parents got justice because their murderer died and Felix gets a happy ending/normal life (implied since he left) which is probably what his parents wanted for him.
I think the pacing was good and it wasn’t a confusing or rushed read. The chasing, the running, betrayal, etc. were timed well.
Would want side stories of their life after they left the city.
I liked the story. It didn’t feel forced nor did it feel like a drag to read. The characters were designed well and the art was nice. I like how it was comedic, cute, and a very easy plot to read.
I also like how it didn’t feel like the main character was perfect. Because other manhwa’s with this kind of plot style, they tend to make the FL perfect and have almost no conflict with anything, but in this story, she had internal conflict and was almost taken by the pope, if it weren’t for danny’s gift, she would’ve fallen. It shows more of a human side of the character. Though I definitely would want to see more chapters of their kid (also where did danny go?)
I love how they show the kids grown up a bit and Mel and Dominic’s sibling relationship. At first, I thought that he would be one of the MLs but after a few chapters in the beginning, I realized that she only saw him as a brother or brother like figure. It was actually refreshing because usually these kind of manhwas like having multiple MLs. Though it did seem like the prince liked Mel, I think it was more of a developing feeling because he saw her as someone who did what she wanted and followed her ideals. More than anything, I think she is someone he wants to be like. So I feel like maybe he started to like her a bit but noticed her relationship with Isaac and stopped before anything deeper formed (thats why he asked if she was happy with Isaac before he let go of his feelings because he respected her before anything). Everyone here was good and the antagonists got what they deserved.
Would want some side stories :3
All in all a good read. Art was nice, story flow was good. I liked it.
I like the concept pf the story. The plot twist that this was not a soap opera and instead real life was cool. The twin reveal and father reveal was so dramatic and even the characters were good. The story portrays the villainess really well, the backstory was good for each character, and the art was nice. The manipulation, obsession, and temperament of the characters brought the story together. I already had a feeling that jia was gonna choose ro un because he was the only one she found cute early on in the manhwa. Though i was a bit sad about jeonwon because it doesn’t show whether he got a happy ending or not. For sera and jae eon, though jae eon was definitely a crappy partner at first and sera was a ticking time bomb, i think they both realized their mistakes and since theres no one aggravating sera and jae eon reflected, it looks like they want to restart their relationship. Though jae eon was definitely insensitive to sera in the beginning, it looked like he was still pretty attentive towards her, he just didn’t express it, I feel like if the antagonist wasn’t there, they would’ve been able to fall in love in the first place. Why? Because sera’s actual personality is very soft and kind, she was just driven up to a corner.
Anyway, all in all a good read. I liked it. It had enough drama and resolved issues. Everyone seemed to have a good ending (but i do want to see jeongwon happy whether thats with someone or with himself trying to love himself and find a reason to live for himself).
Man was a green flag, Woman knew what she is worth. Trash discarded. All is well.
Glad this was a more lighthearted romance manhwa. I feel bad for her mom though, I kinda wanted there to be some kind of closure for that part like maybe a divorce or something because it was implied that her dad is still causing trouble. Also wished that her friend ended up with someone like maybe implied. And would have wanted to see them pregnant with a sibling for their daughter. All in all, good read, very chill, cute story. Props to ML for staying loyal for 9 years despite not knowing if she will ever notice and love him back.

Where is the part where he explains to yoojoon what he went through? Where is the part where yoojoon understands what happened to jiho? Man, I get that you feel like yoojoon is too good for you and yes he is, but if you just explained to him like how you explained to your toxic ex, then he would’ve understood and tried to help you. Also, toxic ex got what he deserved without yoojoon having to dirty his hands, but like is it just me or is the ending a bit rushed. Lowkey wanted to know if jiho ended up explaining what happened to him. I wanted to know what happened to the ex, i also wanted to know how much time passed when they met again. Like idk, the art was nice, the plot was interesting and a bit frustrating, but the end was definitely not enough.
