Wow….I was so excited for this at first, the art was great, the characters were attractive, the plot was interesting, and then somewhere about 20 chapters in it just….divulged. It’s so…bland? We never really got into what the dad actually did to Nagi, there’s plot holes, there wasn’t any REAL conflict between nagi and the ml, like, it was just such a nothing burger in the end which is quite upsetting because I do feel like it had good bones.
idk something about it just feels unfinished, it’s like i’m STILL not 100% sold on Brett’s feelings and him actually taking the relationship seriously, I get that the intention is that Brett isn’t one for overly romantic gestures, but god, at least give us SOMETHING that proves that Brett actually pines and needs Hayden, also the ending was super rushed
I have always been a Tj lover, obviously Jo is the much healthier choice, but Tj and Ian’s relationship had that history that made it so so yummy. That being said, this ending feels very melancholy for Jo’ and we get the sense that Jo will forever be caught up on Ian to an extent. It feels like a pretty unsatisfying ending. I wouldn’t call it a bad ending by any means, but it feels like a bit of a let down that someone like Jo who is truly a good person is slightly jaded now and will always be pining over someone who didn’t pick him. It would have been good to see him happy with someone instead of this somewhat dejected ending.
I don’t know about how hung up he still is on Ian. Tbh I never delete my photos, even those of past friends or lovers. Being at his aunt’s restaurant naturally reminded him of Ian but it doesn’t mean he still has such strong love towards him.
I really liked the melancholic atmosphere around Jo in the last chapter.

yeah this was literal slop start to finish
