Hello, sorry I think I missed your comment accidentally. Actually, I have mentioned on my comment that my opinion regarding characters are biased. So personally for me MC seemed a bit stubborn when it came to accept ML's feelings in their new start. I mean ML wasn't that bad actually which is explained throughout the story, mostly due to circumstances they suffered a lot. But in new life MC kinda hold to old "grudges" and was afraid of things that happened in his previous life but not in this second "chance" life?! I dunno if I said it correctly. So I can say you are missing something if you haven't read the novel yet, you may understand why I m saying MC felt kinda stubborn . But again it is more like biased opinion of mine(￣∇￣")

He gets together with first ML. First ML chases after MC in second life and alot of hidden secrets will reopen. First ML is actually very sweet ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

And its completed in Chinese. But it doesn't have English version dunno why.

Yes, I personally pity ML a lot. Cause he suffers more in second life I guess?! MC chooses to not interfere with him in second life thinking that MC ruined ML's relationship with ML's seemingly "first love" for what he was slapped in first life and parted ways. So a lot of misunderstandings will get explanations, and in second life it shows what sacrifices they done to be together . I think it's better to read the novel to understand it better. Cause my English is not so good to explain as it can be seen here in my comments ┗( T﹏T )┛

So, Song Yan is ML and Xia Lin is our MC of this story. They are in relationship at the starting point of the story(not so good relationship), and the story starts from MC discovering that he has tumour of last stage and he has left little time to live.
Right at this point ML will meet him and start blaming him for "lying" that ML's ex lover was actually alive in order to "deceive " him . So they broke up, and MC will not have a chance to tell ML about his health condition and rather thinks that it is better to leave ML like this rather than make him suffer.

ML meets with his ex lover and discovers that he mistook the situation and falsely blamed MC and broke up in verge of emotions, and tada, in addition he discovers MCs health condition, but MC is gone missing at that time.
. Time skip->
So MC dies and ML kills himself.
. And the story starts from MC waking up with his 18yrs old body.
And actual story starts from here.

General summarise(biased)
The story is actually very dynamic, later it will show how ML went through hardships to earn MC's affection back. Their family background, especially ML's family makes it hard for ML throughout the story development. Cause ML is only heir of rich family that owns conglomerate companies. In addition stubborn MC that decides to not let ML into his heart anymore. So ML suffers a lot (￣∇￣"). Sorry can't spoil too much.
Anyway, we have second love interest- MC's bodyguard
