Was he introduced really early on in the manhwa? Cuz I know who he is like I know he’s the Mugo of the past but I genuinely cant remember when MC found out about him/their past (Other than knowing how he died and how the 3Mugos were formed)

It's implied he was introduced early on. That mysterious man who I thought first was the nice mugo who likes sweet -was actually him. He told our Mc to bring something sweet the next time they meet, so that Mc can bring forth the nice mugo and doesn't get eaten when he got sacrificed. Be got spared becuz of it and even got protection from the nice mugo when the angry one wanted to off him,

That old guy pointing, causing MC to have a panic attack, causing Kalan to punch him since he was so new to the feeling of love and clearly overwhelmed with it and all, considering his totally-not-love-confession
And if I had to guess what the old guy said, it would either be something like "you guys are so bad at protecting her, look how bad she's doing, give her to us instead!" Or "why didn't it fully work? Is she weak?" (Since some branches stayed black) Which I doubt tho since at the end, he was still trying to be their wife as well/instead

That makes so much more sense. I was initially thinking he was accusing mc of not healing their tree properly (hence the attack) but got confused when he still tried to marry her near the end. Your theory makes much more sense! Thanks!

I know, I had to backtrack a bit. From what I remember, she knew where the saintess was, so kept putting herself out there to see her and then asked to be her friend.

When saintess first set foot in the palace, she's being tied like a criminal and was dragged by two knights into a room where our fl happen to be in too. Fl insisted on her staying so they let her, but somehow saintess accidentally burn fl's hand.

Fl defend saintess = They become friends.

Also mostly because the saintess holy instincts said FL gives good vibes..
