As a novel reader, don't drop this because it is so worth it. the worldbuilding(especially the Abyss) is absolutely amazing and the characters are loveable. I don't know about the manhwa but reading the novel made me feel like I was experiencing the abyss with them, so much so that I dreamt of it

The young master is truly cruel, he didn't want Muni for who he was, so he sought to change him into the person he wants Muni to be and now they're in this situation. No wonder Giyun has so much aversion towards him, I'd also resent the person I loved if they led me to my death.
