This was my top Manhwa frfr, like I love both characters, but the angst has been going on for so long it's just not it anymore. I know a lot of ppl like the pacing, and I agreed at first, but it's been almost a year including a long hiatus which was understandable, but it's going nowhere tbh. It's a push and pull and it doesn't look like there will be a reconciliation anytime soon by that push and pull will happen again maot likely with the latest ch, like dang. I don't see much progress until at least late November or sum and season 2 had already taken long to launch and now it's waiting for a release every 4th,14th,24th? That's like 3 ch. each month it's going to drag for sure.
Just bring them back... its been like a year or more, have me all depressed fr. Either they get back or go their separate ways . I feel like they have spent more time apart than together this whole series .
Honestly, the imbalance is throwing me off so bad. Why should the Dohu have to keep pursuing for chapters and chapters, and come off as desperate? Begging for Juheon’s attention?
Dohu has always been blunt. My thing is how much reassurance does Dohu have to give you and in a wording where you believe it to actually believe him?if you really knew who he was and how he is, why are you holding it against Dohu with the way he speaks? It feels like you really don't know him, and you're just holding this over his head for so long. Mind you Dohu never used the notes he got from Juheon and there relationship was pretty brief in my eyes, so it feels like Juheon is going too far.
Also something that bothers me is how internally Juheon knows that Dohu is suffering and says he won't leave him alone, but when face to face with Dohu, he shuts him out and makes Dohu do all the contact, I dont get it.
And that intimacy scene threw me off so bad because he was never like that. You're taking your anger out on him to the point of bleeding, not even apologizing, and we see you and him care more about your injury than his well-being as well? That's not okay. It feels like Juheon is just pushing all his insecurities onto Dohu, using him as a breaking point like, "well, everybody uses me so I'm going to take it out on him". Like, what the fuck?
Even if the author is leading the story to where Dohu stops pursuing and Juheon finally chases after him, I don't feel like it's going to be gratifying. How do you even take back everything you said throughout these chapters? If he needs this much reassuring now, what's going to happen when you guys actually get into a relationship? Are you still going to hold what happened four years ago over his head or move past it? It just doesn't balance out.
Do you really need the author to literally spell it to you to understand what is going on?
Juheon os trying to protect Dohu from his fucking "mom". Wasn't it sufficiently clear when Dohu said he crossed paths with her and Juheon literally PANICKED?
Also he is so afraid to suffer again that he prefers to keep Dohu at arms length.
And ALL of that had been shown or said already during this season.
I think Juheon is the exact reason that the author is stretching out the chasing arc because Juheon is not ready for a relationship with all the distrust and unhealthy coping habits he has. That being said i don't think that Juheon is in a position to trust Dohu rn despite knowing Dohu for being so blunt because of how Dohu betrayed him in the past by using him and getting into a relationship with him just for his novel (at least that was the impression he got) and tbh in the chapters when they were together, they never had a serious talk about their emotions, only vague promises. Also he's dealing with shit in his family that doesn't care about him all might keep him occupied emotionally. But Juheon has never been an emotional person, maybe a romantic. So he's just dealing with emotions in unhealthy ways and lashing out at the first person that actually makes Juheon face his own vulnerabilities and problems. Juheon cares for Dohu a lot but he's still hurt and scared that Dohu might use him again or fall victim to his family's ploys and leave him on that basis. I think this season is used to highlight how emotionally inept and broken Juheon is and is no better than Dohu in these things despite seeming calm and rational in the previous seasons. That being said i don't think there will be a chasing arc of Juheon chasing after Dohu because it's redundant and absolutely pointless to add it when Dohu is so adamant about taking care of Juheon. Well I'm fear I might also be taking sides lol
Lowkey hate how Dohu is still doing all the pursuing. I understood it at first, but we're like 20+ ch in or something, it gets to a point. Why should Dohu bear all the responsibility? Idk i feel like atp Juheon is dragging it, maybe im taking sides. But Dohu is not to blame for all the bad things that happened to him, and it feels like hes punishing Dohu for his whole upbringing. Even now, Dohu has to stay at his very side, almost as desperation, bc if he steps aside for too long, Juheon will run again.
Yeah ikr , it feels aS if he is just trying to shift all the blame to dohu , even though he apologized ik an apology can't make u forget everything but gosh how many chapters we will see dohu being a doormat

Dohu deserves better like he should just move on. Juheon only cares about his state and doesn't stop to notice that the reason Dohu is hurting himself is so that he doesn't disappear on him again. To Dohu, this is the only way he can keep seeing Juheon. Breaking my heart man y is dohu more worried about that bum's shoulder than his asshole that is literally bleeding, smh. And even if Juehon at first resisted not to "hurt" dohu, he is going along with it m, being forceful and even throwing insults at Dohu once again, he can go fuck himself no lie.

I found the raw of the newest ch. Lowkey dissappointed, used to be such a green flag story now idek. U would think Dohu was the one who killd Juheons mom or sum, he's treating him so harshly, putting his head down like that, all I see is hatred from Juheon and is taking out all his hatred and anger on Dohu and I hate that for Dohu. Dohu u deserve better :/

While we know Dohu is stubborn, especially once he figured out that Juheon is protecting him from his family, Juheon is as well. Dohu wanted to take him to the hospital and mug said lets do it. Dohu doesnt want to, but holds the 5 meeting ultimatum over his head. I understood Juheon’s feeling betrayed by Dohu, but I feel like he's taken it too far since the timeskip. Yes at first Dohu approached him with an ulterior motive and this relationship came from a misunderstanding that Dohu didn't clarify, but from what I remember, Dohu never used the analysis he got from Juheon for his next story, he used something else. So I can understand Juheon feeling betrayed as he fell in love for sure and understood his anger 4 years ago, but I feel like now he's over doing it and basically coerced or gave no option to Dohu to have sex, or else no more meetings is what I took it as. I would understand him being angry 4 yrs later if Dohu released a story with all the analysis he used of Juheon but that was never the case, he never even used it.
I do think it was SA. Yes Dohu consented to sex, but he did not consent to being penetrated without proper lubrication, but also without condom. Juheon just said no condom and just shoved it in like wtf. Can clearly tell Dohu is in pain :/. Juheon has been an asshole since s2 started, and while I do think being angry for 4 years is a bit much for what he holds over Dohu until now, he took it too far this time for sure. More than likely that Dohu bled bc there is no way he didn't, Dohu u deserve better fr :/. The book was doing so good and it just went downhill when the author had their extended hitaus for sure.

I love this book. Ik a lot of ppl don't mind the slow burn, but I personally don't really like it. The pace is still getting nowhere imo, like yes Dohu fell sick which is progress for Juheim to see how grave he is, but I'm sure for them to talk over everything will probably take 10 to 14 more ch, bc if it's too fast paced for reconciling it will look strange. I hate how the way they will reconcile or how Juheon will take Dohu more seriously is by Dohu faling ill. I thought this was the best option at first, but now I feel like it didn't have to get to this point. I don't like this way of Juheon noticing how Dohu was affecting really badly to him disappearing this way, when he had already seen many occurrences but chose to ignore them for his own sake perhaps. But in the process, he also hurt Dohu and pushed him away. And now he will probably get closer to him and I hate how it is because Dohu fell ill, and what even happened to meeting five times? It's more of Dohu pushing and nudging Juheon to acknowledge him and Juheon just pulling away everything, like it doesnt take a lot of work to see Dohu was also struggling, even his coworkers noticed. Its also starting to feel a little repetitive with the whole I knew he was looking frail but chose to ignore it and so on. Idek atp :/
