I found the raw of the newest ch. Lowkey dissappointed, used to be such a green flag story now idek. U would think Dohu was the one who killd Juheons mom or sum, he's treating him so harshly, putting his head down like that, all I see is hatred from Juheon and is taking out all his hatred and anger on Dohu and I hate that for Dohu. Dohu u deserve better :/
Raw: https://wfwf458.com/view?toon=9529&num=91&title=%B0%F8%B0%FA%BB%E7%B4%C2%B1%B8%BA%D0%C7%D889%C8%AD
While we know Dohu is stubborn, especially once he figured out that Juheon is protecting him from his family, Juheon is as well. Dohu wanted to take him to the hospital and mug said lets do it. Dohu doesnt want to, but holds the 5 meeting ultimatum over his head. I understood Juheon’s feeling betrayed by Dohu, but I feel like he's taken it too far since the timeskip. Yes at first Dohu approached him with an ulterior motive and this relationship came from a misunderstanding that Dohu didn't clarify, but from what I remember, Dohu never used the analysis he got from Juheon for his next story, he used something else. So I can understand Juheon feeling betrayed as he fell in love for sure and understood his anger 4 years ago, but I feel like now he's over doing it and basically coerced or gave no option to Dohu to have sex, or else no more meetings is what I took it as. I would understand him being angry 4 yrs later if Dohu released a story with all the analysis he used of Juheon but that was never the case, he never even used it.
I do think it was SA. Yes Dohu consented to sex, but he did not consent to being penetrated without proper lubrication, but also without condom. Juheon just said no condom and just shoved it in like wtf. Can clearly tell Dohu is in pain :/. Juheon has been an asshole since s2 started, and while I do think being angry for 4 years is a bit much for what he holds over Dohu until now, he took it too far this time for sure. More than likely that Dohu bled bc there is no way he didn't, Dohu u deserve better fr :/. The book was doing so good and it just went downhill when the author had their extended hitaus for sure.
No offense, but I lowkey dont like either ML's. MC just wants to focus on his career and become someone big and hes already looked downed upon bc hes an omega and worked twice as hard to get recognized. First fucker spread pheromones without consent and also SA'D him, which now MC needs rely on his pheromonesbc of what he did without MC consent. Now 2nd ml or the older guy, hes lowkey the same. Was gonna do it with MC while MC was drunk, is persistent for some reason and in lastest ch., carried him without his consent. Like no ML seems to respect MC boundaries and I feel like instead of rooting for another ML, MC should be able to do what he wants and focus on becoming big in his career. I lowkey feel bad for MC bc all he wants is to prove himself and here are two guys just being persistent and crossing boundaries. Also not to mention, there is a big power imbalance between MC and the older guy, especially with this new ch where he sponsored basically everything for the trip. I dont like that bc if he wanted to, he could try to take away opportunities or something from MC, but hopefully not.
Is it just me or was Juheon jelly that Dohu dressed up at the company dinner, ahaha. The fact that dohu said u kept staring at me, Juheon was probably tempted not to fall into Dohu's tactic , I see some progress for sure . I love how this ch is more lighthearted, my heart can only take so much angst.
I'm excited and scared for the next ch. Upon rereading the book again, “Since U Been Gone” reminds me so much of Dohu, especially after Juheon suddenly disappeared.
At first, I think the breakup crushed him with guilt. Not just the loss itself, but the realization that he couldn’t give Juheon what he needed at that time, which was reassurance, clarity, and emotional language. And once Juheon was gone, there was no way to go back and fix it. No conversation. No closure. Just silence.
What hurts is that Dohu didn’t run from that guilt. He didn’t deny it either. He had to accept the choice he made, live with the consequences, and keep moving forward instead of staying trapped in “what ifs.” In that way, the song’s lyrics “I can breathe for the first time” doesn’t feel like freedom, it feels like survival. How Dohu Learned how to live because he had no other option.
The breakup hit him deeply, he grew out his hair, was reminded of Juheon in the places where they used to go to, He then learned how much he truly loved juheon but didnt know to what extent until he disppared. Dohu then had to learn how to function, and how to exist without the person he loved most, even if it never stopped hurting.
That’s why Juheon reappearing changes everything. Seeing him on TV for the first time where he was huddled and in a depressive state, and then running into him at his work, feels like a second chance Dohu never thought he’d get. It doesn’t erase the past, but it reassures him of one thing, he shouldn’t give up anymore and chase toward what he truly wants and what his emotions are telling him to do .
This time, he knows what he failed to express before. And now that Juheon is back, Dohu isn’t running, he’s choosing to face it head-on and work for him, no matter how long it takes.
This songs also relates to Juheon in certain parts as well When he disappeared, it wasn’t because he stopped loving Dohu. It was because staying meant facing feelings that he really loved dohu but that what he saw as betrayal meant that Dohu would hurt him like other ppl did in his life, so he choose to leave to save himself and save his heart from being more heartbroken . The “I can breathe for the first time” isn’t relief for him, it’s emotional numbness. Breathing because he shut everything down. Because running was easier than admitting he was scared.
And “now I get what I want” hits in the most ironic way. What he wanted back then wasn’t freedom ,it was control. Safety. Distance. And he got it, at the cost of the person he loved most.
That’s why none of the moving-on parts actually fit him. Juheon didn’t move on, he froze. He stayed exactly where he left things, convincing himself it was over while carrying everything with him anyway.
So when Dohu reappears, it all unravels. The breathing stops. The control cracks. Because Juheon never healed — he just survived.
I've been posting so much, but its bc this story is so well written. Regarding Dohu's hair, The more I think about Dohu’s long hair, the more it breaks me.
When Juheon left, Dohu kept everything exactly as it was, even his hair.
Because cutting it would mean time has passed and that Dohu moved on. And he never did.
His long hair symbolizes the four years of waiting,
of hoping the person he loved would come back and still recognize him.
He changed in every painful way, like wearing hats, hiding himself, and didn't keep his hair short because it was the one that reminded him of Juheon and cutting it would mean thathe accepted that their relationship is in the past, but its not .

Dohu deserves better like he should just move on. Juheon only cares about his state and doesn't stop to notice that the reason Dohu is hurting himself is so that he doesn't disappear on him again. To Dohu, this is the only way he can keep seeing Juheon. Breaking my heart man y is dohu more worried about that bum's shoulder than his asshole that is literally bleeding, smh. And even if Juehon at first resisted not to "hurt" dohu, he is going along with it m, being forceful and even throwing insults at Dohu once again, he can go fuck himself no lie.
never have agreed more.
Tbh I kind of don't even want them together anymore. This shit be toxic af, this chapter made me sick.
