But I swear I would never forgive my mother for doing that to me, actually state my boundaries, and if my family won’t respect them I’d disappear for a while. Like what that woman did to him was awful, and he’s in his full right wanting no contact with her and not wanting HIS family to be around her.
Both people that like and don’t like his looks, like who gives a fuck what the rest thinks, it’s fine if they express their likes and also their dislikes for how the ml looks. It’s a comments section in the end, at least they are talking about the manhwa and keeping on topic (talking about aspects of the manhwa) not complain about the readers
I really like the story and have bought official merch of it, but this whole thing has made me disappointed in the author. This is not the first time she sends her followers to hate on someone, both legal and illegal readers. I understand her anger and frustration, it’s her job in the end, but acting like a child online is not going to fix the issue. There’s also a clear tint of classism in her replies, and wouldn’t go as far as saying xenophobia/racism, but if she only goes on a manhunt for international illegal readers, when Koreans have numerous sites where they share illegal scans, and those go untouched by most authors, it leaves me weird taste in my mouth. I’ve been so excited about the physical version of this to come out in english, and I’ve been posting about buying it nonstop since the announcement on my social media, but now I don’t think I will. I don’t feel sorry for it, I don’t feel comfortable spending any more money on someone that would incite her million followers to send hate to someone over yaoi
Whenever he speaks I feel he’s lying, and maybe I missed it but how the hell did he know where his house was, or when they were actually in the house. The mc has so many gaps in his memory, I don’t trust him as well. At least guwon has shown both sides, the good and bad, but all the people in the town are weird, it feels like we’re missing something important
Seeing something like that must be traumatizing, thinking you’ve got back a sense of normalcy only for it to be ripped apart and be forced to see how the world is completely messed up, no matter where you are. However, I do think the mc is an unreliable narrator, we barely know anything about him or his past, and tbh it’s like he forgot a lot of it, kinda like the brain does in really traumatic cases as a coping mechanism just to be able to keep going. It’d be interesting to see more of it, and if he actually did something really bad in the past, and is projecting the disgust he could have towards himself into guwon. Also guwon is really interesting I like him, he’s like a blank canvas that knows nothing about morality, about what good or wrong, I think it’d be interesting to see the events that lead him to be like this
why should garam even care about what that purple bitch wants.. get away from him
The whole situation with the adoptive mother pisses me off so much, his feelings of guilt and the attachment he feels towards that woman clouded his judgement as a man that’s supposed to uphold the law and see that it’s followed it the dot. He chose to cover up everything and blame the victim in all of this, a child at the time. And Hee-seo, he’s unstable, he’s been unstable the whole time, I don’t get why no one got him a fucking therapist the moment he got out from the abusive foster parents’ home. I know he’ll have to pay for what he’s done in the future, but it’s frustrating seeing how this could have been avoided. I remember in one of the first chapters someone wondered how not a single adult helped him during his life, every single adult failed him, and now that he’s an adult himself, he keeps digging himself deeper into this whole mess. And the fuckass stepbrother idgaf about his crush tbh, sorry for the long rant.
that sorry excuse of a father needs to go i get so irritated when i see it
i hate these little shits that are blaming everything on that redhead I forgot his name, can the older guy wake up and clear up the misunderstanding please. also the police??? why are they doing that to a patient without an adult present, why are they believing what a bunch of kids say instead of investigating???
They are awful people who never saw her as anything other than a piece in their game, they were greedy for power, this time and last time. They aren’t victims like laliette originally believed, they did commit treason, and they are actively working to commit it in this life too. I’m annoyed
namu leaving feels like that sailor moon meme “my job here is done” “but you didn’t do anything!” he appeared, created drama and the left i know that was the purpose of his character but it still felt unnecessary
