i flippes thru this to see if i even wanted to bother and tell me why they hired a new artist every 10 chapters......like who even is anyone at that point
fantastic. from start to finish, i loved this so so much. it didn't fall prey to any annoying cliches - instead it had a loving family, healthy and straightforward communication, a simple but steady singular love, strong and well written women, charming and respectful men, a subtle yet tasteful side gay couple, a realistic redemption arc, and all of this without drawing out the plot and maintaining absolutely gorgeous art and characters!! it ended when it needed to, and gave us a wonderfully hopeful ending. this is truly a rare gem and an even rarer find - im so lucky to have stumbled upon it!
i ended up reading it on 1nkr as it's fully translated there, i hate that random groups took the scans off their site and ruined them with 800 watermarks. theres a bunch of clean chapters on b@to as well, I'd recommend going there or ¡nkr for clearer and in-order scans v(￣ｰ￣)v

The heroine is in some risky situation and gets kissed without consent multiple times (I think three times). At least one other women is r*ped, and two times women are shown half naked on the public places. One of the characters has a backstory of abuse. Another has a backstory of incest, but it isn't shown, and it's in the side stories, so it isn't plot revelant and can be skipped. However, r*pe, while present, makes "sense" in the plot (like war situation), so it isn't there just for no reason at all, and isn't shown as something without consequences or not highly tragic and problematic. So if you're scared of it being the basis of the plot, it isn't the case at all. The scenes are also spread at times when they makes sense in the plot obviously. I mean, basically, this a completely plot-driven shoujo. It's also one of my favourite manga ever, the characters are absolutly awesome and interesting and flawed, and I hope you'll give it a chance.

this artist can only draw antagonists' hair well. the protags and their npc friends (peek those sheep sideburns in ch 99 before u disagree) ......idk why they hate us like this but the sole and only thing that has ever given me an ounce of dislike towards this is how bad the mcs hair is haha and the ML. ive wanted to drop it at times bc i kept having to skim past scenes sp i wouldnt have to see that wack ass hairdo. like who tf has a headband bangs that are a completely diff texture and highlights than the rest of the hair? why do the MLs sideburns look like worms tryna inch off his face and why do his bangs get wimpier and wimpier every ep? im sry for the rant but ive been holding thjs in too long and then we have that douchbage ex and the "evil" blonde dude with perfectly normal hair just to show the artist CAN draw it but just wont bc they wanna torture us (T__T)

Yesssss! It’s giving wig for the MC. It’s giving headband because why is it two different shades of brown? I hate the hairline. I’ve thought that from the beginning! I love the female side character who’s good with swords design. Her hair is so good. I hate the MLs character design so much because of the bangs and the weird thick sideburns. Blonde guy? Fucking beautiful. The new body that was taken over by the demon god with red dot on his forehead? Fucking stunning. I hate when I love side characters designs more than the main characters. That is also my only complaint. Besides that, excellent story!
