Listen I love a good slow burn but this is too slow. And there’s nothing burning here. We’re 40+ chapters in and there’s been very little progress in the story, their dynamics, their characters. It’s like Crayon Shin Chan where there’s a new episode every week but they’re all the same. I hate how the art is way too good it’s impossible to drop siiigh
No l, I actually like this better. I hate when stories show characters doing a complete 180 just because they fell in love. That means they’re just putting on a show and being fake. I’d rather see something like this, so you can tell he’s still showing his true personality, and if he improves, he’s genuinely improving and not just faking it.
I’m not even worried about him winning or him having to choose his career over Dan because I know everything will work out at the end. What I’m really worried about is I feel like this is about to end soon, and I just hope the author will give us like 10 chapters where we can see both of them be happy and heal together. I don’t want them suffering for like 100 chapters just for the author to wrap everything up and give us half a chapter where they’re actually happy together.

It had such an interesting premise and could’ve been great, but I feel like the story wasn’t executed properly. Maybe because it was too short. Hopefully the author revisits this one day and turns it into a full series. It has so much potential.
