I remember reading this work years and years ago on another website and there were only two first chapters. I didn’t quite understand the story but the art was so peak and I didn’t know what the ending would be so I found some scans in Japanese, understood nothing, but I remember liking it very much.
Now after reading the whole thing I think the storyline is well written, I like the dynamics between the mc and the ml, smut scenes are absolute cinema but what’s with this kink on the mc being molested and raped by random pricks. Definitely not for me. The fact that this teenager and ESPECIALLY the pervy prof face no consequences (the latter hasn’t even got smashed in the face) sets my butt on fire able to burn down all the Amazonian forest. Though the side couples are good imo. I’m in general ok with a lot of problematic stuff, maybe it’s a personal no go but I want I spin off where both of these sick fucks get what the two twins from pearl boy got.
It’s interesting btw also a long time ago I started reading dakaretai otoko after this one and hated it but now it’s pretty good, just getting boring for me at some point. And this with two chapters fascinated me and now well..
I got sooo pissed off with dohu. He’s just so egoistic and arrogant and the worst part was that after a time skip he hasn’t changed a bit. I just get mad seeing his attitude towards the ml and other people like. Who do you think you are boy?light yagami the Kira? Edgy high schooler aka @bob_joker on social media?? Treating people like they are npc and you’re the boss.
And first he irritated me in the first chapters when he just continued pushing until the ml is into him, then he irritated me with his consuming attitude, then before their breakup cuz like. For real. The first thing you do in such situations is apologizing…AND FINALLY HE IS 4 YEARS OLDER AND IS. COMPLETELY. THE SAME. Still with the position “I want it and I don’t care about anything I’ll get it”. Also maybe partially he pisses me off cuz the ml has score 0 in stoicism and dohu triggered all his soft spots like in 2 days…maybe they should have met in 10 years when he’ll be an experienced actor, 4 is too little.
Also I’d like to say it’s just my intolerance to dohu, the story itself surely is well-written and for me like ALL the protagonists’ actions are perfectly motivated, never out-of-characters. Also it’s really refreshing to have the mc who is so reserved and pushy at the same time, and even the fact he hasn’t changed makes it more realistic. The art is perfect tooヾ(☆▽☆)
However, not my cup of tea. Hate mc. Anger. Hitting the wall. I’ve read plenty works with such characters but this one. No. (=・ω・=)

I mean this in the nicest way possible you missed the probably the biggest point of the story. As somebody who is neurodivergent and resonates deeply with Dohu, youre said some pretty insensitive stuff dude! @-@
"egoistic and arrogant" That is the exact same way that the people who treated him indifferently viewed him. They viewed him as a robot with no emotions, or "treating people like npc." Dohu does not experience, process, or express emotions in the same way a typical person would, but that does not mean he doesn't still feel them or care about them. That element of his character is PART of him and it always will be. Just as it is in people who are similar to him in real life. The author did a great job keeping him the way he is rather than trying to make him conform with society's image on what a person should act like. If somebody cannot grasp this idea, then yeah, this story is definitely not for you.
This manhwa is just a story of course. I mean, that is pretty obvious lol. But that does not change the fact that when it comes to stories like these, fiction usually imitates reality, and vice versa. There are people out there who have gone through or are currently going through the type of discrimination that the main character had to go through for being different.
I would rather be too woke and understanding than be somebody who makes people feel ashamed for being their authentic self. I hope my words can help you view things from a different perspective,, not trying to argue. @-@

i get that u feel invalidated for ur opinion, but tbh it does feel like u don't understand his character. he's not doing it to be purposely edgy, he just misses social cues. he is not egotistical, if he was then he wouldn't have felt guilty for his actions towards the ml. Egotism is characterized as a lack of humility and an unhealthy amount of self-importance. Mc acknowledged his mistakes and apologized for them, and yeah he does prioritize himself, but like as he should?
Mc has never expressed a "fuck everyone else but me" mindset, it's more of "im just here to do my thing and go home".
It's been pointed out numerous times that mc was unaware that his actions pre-timeskip are considered weird by the norm.
He has never picked up on social cues, and has a small amount of friends. It's quite obvious that he's autism coded more than anything else. I recommend rereading this story bc i feel like ur missing a lot of points if you continue going on the whole mindset that he's an arrogant and egotistical asshole. He isn't perfect, but he's def not some cartoon villain selfish ex bf
Look maybe I wasn’t clear enough in my first comment (however anyway it’s just an opinion like many others, not like I’m trying to convince smb) but I just don’t like this particular character, his actions. The action itself is egoistic for me whatever the reason is. And it’s not like this is the first or the second character with autistic traits. There are plenty of them… at least I remember a few. And they’re different too e.g there is an mc in semantic error - I don’t dislike him. This one dislike. And this has nothing to do with the reason he acts like this

I find it realistic tho, Kim Euihyun is a person who isnt frail but has had to overcome a lot of hardships. He is underweight, depressed, stressed and malnourished all of this can make you have a miscarriage. Plus everything hes been through i wouldnt be too surprised
I dunno how to rate this manga because on one hand there are really hilarious and dark humor moments, plus I like the main couple dynamics but on the other hand there are things and characters that make me wanna wash my eyes with soap and chlorine
