As much as I feel terrible for what Mokyeon is going through, intentionally putting someone in a position where they'd have to live with the guilt of knowing they were the last person to see you before you committed suicide is absolutely insane. Especially when the whole point is to make sure they can never forget you.

This is honestly the kind of story where I hope Mokyeon and Nanjo DON'T end up together. I want Mokyeon to get the help he needs, heal, and finally let go of Nanjo, while Nanjo gets over his savior complex.

Hi, I've been looking for this one specific manga ive read a couple years ago.
The story is about a mother and a son. The mother is weirdly obsessed with her son, I don't think it was romantic, but she'd do stuff like say uncanny stuff when the kid brought a girl home to make her back off.
The most memorable thing was when they went on a camping trip with either their family or close friends and the son and this other boy went further into the forest, and ended up by a cliff. The other kid started talking about how weird the son's relationship is with his mom and she showed up just to push the other kid off the cliff while smiling at her son.
The manga was in black and white, and the mom had black her.

I honestly don't get the amount of hate Sunhwa gets. It's not his fault Mokyeon got beaten up. Honestly, I'd even argue Mokyeon brought that on himself.

I think people are forgetting that we still don't know the full story. It's pretty obvious Nanjo has some kind of savior complex, and this chapter made it seem like he already knew Sunhwa was playing him. There was just something that made him stay anyway.
One of my favorite things about this story is that none of the characters are one dimensional. Sunhwa is manipulative and a gold digger. Nanjo is a cheater who's clearly hiding something, and we'll probably find out this season why he's so obsessed with "saving" Sunhwa. Mokyeon is a blackmailer and a liar. None of them are innocent, but that's exactly what makes them interesting. They're all deeply flawed which is why people have such different opinions on them.
That said I understand why people dislike Sunhwa, what I don't understand is acting like he's solely responsible for everything that happened to Mokyeon. Calling him a "bitch" or "whore" and blaming him for all of Mokyeon's suffering is just weird to me. If it wasn't for Sunhwa, Mokyeon wouldn't have even met Nanjo in the first place.
As for Nanjo, I don't think we have enough information to judge him yet. There are clearly pieces of his character we're still missing, so I'm waiting to see where the story goes before deciding whether he's really as awful as some people make him out to be.

Most people here and in the bl/gl community in general are teenagers. It's pretty normal to become curious about relationships, sex, and taboo topics once you hit puberty. I'm not saying a 12 yo should be reading Darkfall or Mr. A's Farm, but pretending those stories won't interest teens is unrealistic. I found my first bl by accident while looking up Gacha life mvs on YouTube, and after that it just became another genre I'd read from time to time. It was Maiden Rose.

The real issue isn't that teenagers are curious. It's making sure they understand the difference between fiction and real life. That's something parents and schools should be teaching, not someone with a "FWOP FWOP" tattoo who openly says she enjoys bls with non-con scenes while trying to police an 18 yo over an obvious joke.

That woman really needs to get a grip. Going after someone who's 12 years younger than you over what was clearly a joke is just crazy

I hate stories like this because the conflict only exists if the characters stop acting like rational adults. Imagine proposing to someone, they say yes, and instead of being happy your immediate reaction is “They probably don't love me.” At some point it stops being insecurity and starts feeling ridiculous. Especially when the other person has spent the entire story proving how much they care.

Honestly, I'm starting to question whether Jaeha actually loves Taegun as much as the story wants us to believe. Taegun's desires have never been complicated. He just wants to come home to Jaeha, talk to him, and build a life together. Yet Jaeha can't even give him that. Every time Taegun tries to have a conversation, understand what's wrong, or work through a problem together, Jaeha's response is to hide things, run away, or make decisions on his behalf. If these were teenagers, I'd understand. But this is a grown man who was running a company. How are his communication skills this bad?

And don't even get me started on the revenge plot. Even if Taegun wanted revenge, Jaeha taking it upon himself to carry it out makes no sense. Revenge only means something when it's sought by the person who was actually wronged. Instead, Jaeha constantly treats Taegun like a child who can't make his own decisions. He'll get revenge for him, lie to him, keep secrets from him, disappear without explanation, all under the excuse of "protecting" him.

The most frustrating part is the hypocrisy. Jaeha left Su-Min because he couldn't tolerate being lied to and betrayed, yet he turns around and does the exact same thing to his own husband. Ghosting someone, abandoning them, and making major decisions behind their back isn't somehow better just because your intentions are good.

At this point the story keeps telling me Jaeha loves Taegun, but his actions keep showing the opposite. Make it make sense

I know the author said there’s going to be a threesome in season 2, but honestly I hope she changes her mind.

Back when the series was mostly smut with a bit of plot on the side it made sense. Most readers weren't invested in the relationships and were just there for the drama and sex. But the story has evolved beyond that. At this point, it's pretty obvious that Seokjun and Chani are the endgame, and more importantly their feelings are mutual.

Adding a threesome now would just frustrate a lot of readers because it doesn't feel like a natural progression of the story anymore. It feels forced.

Not to mention that Mr. Titties has already crossed major boundaries with both of them. He assaulted Chani and forced himself on Seokjun, so suddenly trying to frame him as part of a romantic or sexual dynamic feels completely off to me.

It honestly reminds me of what happened with Mousetrap. Once readers become attached to the characters and their relationships, throwing something like this into the story can backfire hard. I know some people don't mind and just want to see the characters get messy, but when you've spent dozens of chapters building emotional investment, a lot of readers are going to care about whether the characters actions actually make sense

I don't remember much about it. The MC was in love with a guy, i think his friend, so he made a wish to a star for the ML to also fall in love with him, he was doing it on his balcony. The next day the ML was acting all lovely dovey, basically the wish came true. The MC felt like it was unfair to the ML since his feelings weren't real so he told him about the wish, just for ML to reveal that he actually heard MC's wish since he was also on his balcony at the time. I think he was his upstairs neighbor, there's a whole panel showing it.

I'm legit tearing up. Immortal being x mortal human will forever be one of the most heartbreaking tropes because there's nothing they can do. Just as Geumryang said, there are things even Gods can't fix. Time just wins.
And what makes it even worse is that Geumryang can't even follow Taesun when the time comes. He knows how much Taesun loves their children, so he can't bring himself to leave them behind either. He has to stay, watch them grow up, and keep living long after the person he loves is gone.

Just because YOU think a character looks good doesn’t mean everyone else has to agree. Art is subjective. People drop stories over artstyles all the time, so I don’t get why some fandoms get so defensive about it.
I once saw a post where people were naming manhwas they dropped because they disliked the artstyle so I joined in and mentioned “Swallow You Whole” and when I tell you the reaction was insane, suddenly I had people telling me to “just give it a chance” or acting shocked that I didn’t like the art.
Like… what do you want me to say? I just don’t like this author’s style. That doesn’t mean the story is bad or that other people can’t enjoy it. It’s literally just personal preference. But some people act like you’re objectively wrong or crazy for not finding a certain artstyle attractive and it’s so weird and honestly annoying atp

After Leila gives birth he wakes up to Edwin and 3 eggs on the bed. They notice that 1 egg has a weird color and they start to worry but then the 2 normal eggs start to hatch (Aka. their daughter and their son). Ofc Edwin is starting to absolutely devour Leila's ass. Edwin turns him on his belly and starts pounding him which results in Leila lactating. The baby snakes can ig smell it and they latch onto Leila's nips. They’re both so ass. The MC is genuinely stupid for forgiving rape, and the ML’s communication skills are so bad they make every misunderstanding feel forced.
I’ll never understand stories where the MC forgives something that serious just because he’s emotionally attached. He’s supposed to be the future chairman of the company yet he keeps thinking with his obsession for power and validation instead of basic common sense.
And the ML is just exhausting. For the entire first half of the story he acts like he’s secretly plotting against the MC, constantly hiding his intentions, then suddenly gets shocked that the MC doesn’t trust his feelings or take him seriously. Like what did you expect?
The whole “promise” misunderstanding is also such a weak plot device. It’s painfully obvious the MC barely even remembers what that promise meant, while the ML treats it like some sacred lifelong vow that was made yesterday instead of years ago. This entire story could’ve been resolved in five chapters if the ML just explained why he wanted the position and the MC admitted he’d stay by his side regardless.
Istg if the MC ends up pregnant with the secretary’s kid and the ML still accepts it without issue, I’ll blow my brains out

I'm so disappointed in the ending. The whole build up was so good, it kept me on the edge all the time just for it to turn into some paranormal shit. Not even properly explain tbh. I really thought the hands were a metaphor, that it was something deeper and that'd we'd explore the mentality of seriously sociopathic person but its a nothing burger. At least if the mirrors were some sort of metaphor but it's really just that. Mirrors that let people discover their malice. Bruh
