story so goated it takes emotional maturity to understand the meaning behind it
All these kids focus on revenge instead of healing. Bc this Was a good conversation and moment for them.
This is real healing.
Idk why everyone wants them to yell and fight?
"He should grovel" so you want her to have all the power now?
She just said she wanted to be equals with him. Why would she want him on his knees??
Just bc the reader wants something doesn't mean it Should happen.
Out of the many comments ive seen here y'all two are the most sensible one's. This story takes emotional maturity to truly understand. I too want bjorn to truly regret and pay for his actions but not by just crying and begging then just doing the same sh*t again. I want him to actually regret and start showing erna what she truly deserves. I'm all for giving second chances as long as its not about cheating and physical abuse. I do like where the author is going with this, I want bjorn to show more character development and emotional intelligence. Because erna deserve atleast that much sincerity and love.
Absolutely!! I think unfortunately a lot of this kids think healing and the proper answer to this is revenge and for him to hurt.
But he IS HURTING!?
That's his entire character emotional journey.
We meet him deep in pain and ignoring it after the pressure of his position, the things his ex wife put him through for YEARS
That is amplified by an ENTIRE COUNTRY THINKING YOUR AT FAULT
He meets her and in the midst of everything he struggles with emotionally he can't even understand that he is in love with her.
And then when he is slowly and finally starting to act like a person ...
THEIR BABY DIES
HORRIBLY
And almost takes Ernas life in the process!
He has no idea how to handle this. So he goes back to his usual coping mechanism, hiding it all and running from the things he needs to confront.
They never needed a fight or for her to get revenge. They needed to communicate and face their shared grief together.
He lost a daughter too.
Unfortunately so many stories on this site are revenge oriented (which is fine I love a revenge story) that everyone assumes everything is going to be some big revenge tale.

I recognize the artstyle..
