I think because this was about to get anime adaptation that's why author changed relationship dynamics between Hikaru and Yoshiki, from shounen ai to bromance to friends.
it's been confirmed that yoshiki still has some sort of feelings for hikaru, the only reason why yoshiki denies it is because he has internalized homophobia and also because he feels torn about having feelings for "hikaru" for.. multiple obvious reasons. I also thought that mokumokuren was queerbaiting at first, but she was only focusing more on the mystery solving parts of the story they're still gonna be gay we just gotta wait and see TRUST ME
Oh! That's nice then as you said we just gotta wait and see!!. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Sometimes I wonder what real Hikaru's feelings were or how he felt as even in his last moments he thought about Yoshiki.
And I'm also eager to know how developers gonna show hikaru and yoshiki in anime.
It's rare we get horror stories with gay elements in it so I'm loving every bit of it.
I don't feel an ounce of sympathy for the 'hikaru', What I'm hating more is he's taking place of real hikaru, if he does that what will become of the existence of real hikaru even if he's dead, I guess I'm on the gojo looking guy's side, this 'hikaru' shouldn't be here, this is not his right place.
I'm glad the lady is finally doing something but with how things are I get the feeling she'll be engulfed by 'hikaru'.
I personally believe that hikaru’s dying wish, “hikaru’s” lack of intent to ever take on the role of Hikaru, and as “hikaru’s” memory loss/ ack of memory in regards to his past actions as the malevolent head snatcher or whatever does justify “Hikaru’s” actions to an extent. Plus, it isn’t like “Hikaru” doesn’t feel any remorse for his actions. Just this episode he suggested leaving the village to keep everyone safe from himself for the sake of the person he cares about. Idk how not to empathize with someone you can barely hold accountable, especially when they evidently do hold themselves accountable for said actions.

reworded some things
I've seen some people like seme irl, stuck in one place, left behind in the race of their own life, those who're scared to face reality and blame their situation on everything around them except for themselves, theyll do anything and everything instead of improve themselves, it's kind of like escapism.
They realize time can be so cruel quite late and don't understand people change with time and that people have to change with time....also not everyone is lucky to have a support system like uke but what's important should be for them to realize change should be from within instead of throwing tantrums, I really wanted to slap seme so badly because he didn't understand he could have job and still have same kind of fun with late-night beer, visiting places with uke.
The question he asked, "why should I think about myself, I don't give a damn about people around me" it wouldn't have pissed me off so much had he not been a burden and selfish prick to people around him, he was a baggage that had to be carried on someone else's shoulders because he wants to live carefree life and not a kind of a person who will share the burden of the one close to him, had the seme been alone with this personality I wouldn't feel anything about him but his ways was a creating a problems for uke which I hated but good thing is he came to his senses in the end.
I don't know how to say it but I really hate uke for his dumbness and naivety, he just let things happen to him, it's like he can't use his brain or forgets he's strong to handle the situations, I really hate his interactions with tatara, that situation could've been easily avoided, the other guy was also left just like that, Shige confronting him and easily forgiving him left a bad taste, I hate tatara so much, I at least wanted to cut his lips. Shin is so oblivious.
Latest chapter too, I don't understand why others have to protect him, can't he be on alert, it's like this story won't be able to move forward if he's not dumb.
*It's just a rant!!
The story is good, I like Shige, two managers more honestly
Idk girl I think it’s a little bit weird for you to say that him basically being sexually assaulted could’ve been avoided because a un consented kiss is sexual assault believe it or not…. it’s kind of like you’re saying this notion that like victims can avoid you know you know what I’m trying to say because it’s like tread carefully girl
Damn! What a twist, never expected him to have this power, feeling a little proud for my boy....
