I think the Redeption Arc is going to be extremely unsatisfying or anticlimactic at best.
I mean, Dan and the fandom are on two completely different pages --or books even. Dan doesn't see anything wrong with Jaekyung as a person to begin with. He admires and loves him. From Dan's point of view the only problem in the relationship is that JK doesn't like him back. Only the fandom keeps tabs on JK evil behavior. So, I'm afraid it's Dan that's gonna try and prove himself to JK to earn back his trust, and not the other way around. After enough sacrificing JK will think that Dan is someone worthy of trust and that's how they're going to officially start dating in the end.
It's Joo Jaekyung's house! They also have the same eyebrows. It's his brother, I tell ya lololol
Doctor is crossing the line. If we think about jaekyung's perspective.
His employee who's broke is doing side hustles , skipping sleep , skipping lunch ,
Getting hurt in the process . For a godamn keychain ?
This is not the action of someone who's just GRATEFUL ! This is too Much.
Although Dan's motive was simple. But It's Easy to get interpreted in wrong way .
And Dan's timing bro . What a sacred timing he chose. A cranky person + Hungover + shoulder injury =_=
Just do your job only please
Dan's love for JK came out of left field. I get that JK visited his grandmother and paid for her treatments, and that definitely creates feelings of gratitude, but JK still hasn't improved his treatment of him and has even gotten worse because of dieting and his shoulder. So Dan going from feeling genuine fear to falling in love, makes him feel more like a writer's prop than a character to me, especially since he's almost 30 years old. Maybe that's what creates the lack of chemistry between the main couple and the reader's difficulty to relate to Dan . If the ML is going to be cruel the bottom should be resilient, and I don't mean bratty, just more pragmatic. That's what creates chemistry. Anyway, it's a fun and enjoyable manhwa, don't get me wrong, with great art and plot, but definitely, at least for now, inferior to BJ Alex.
