He felt “bad” for Chase, and to sum it up he lied about him sleeping with a dog bc he thought it would ease Chase’s mind to think he slept with a dog instead of being injected with rut injection (basically for extreme dominants they either need to have sex or get injected so the pheromones doesn’t accumilate in the brain and causes them to be brain dead or somthin)

Chase doesn't want to sleep with anyone without feelings. So he tends to let his pheromones build up.
When his first rut hit Grayson panicked and got his dog, since there was no one around who could help. You need to understand how dangerous not releasing pheromones is for dominant alphas, and it's extremely important for their father Ashley. Ashley lost his ability to feel emotions and is dependent on his partner Koi.
But Chase passed out and they gave him an injection. The injection makes sense when you find out in Desire that Ashley found them when he got home.
Tbf it's ashley who didn't teach his child properly. He only made sure that his dom alpha children release pheromone through sex and knows how to fight if they are attacked first. That's all ashley taught his children since childhood. Grayson already is a special child with mental health issues all he understood is that if they don't release pheromone through sex they will die and he didn't want his precious brother to die as he alr can't feel emotions he didn't tell chase that he used injections and traumatized baby chase. It's not entirely grayson's fault tbf I blame ashley for being a lame absent father. Bro just used to lock Grayson up instead properly loving him and telling him what's right what's wrong. A child w mental issues doesn't need a big therapist always sometimes they need passion attention and love which he's getting from dane. Ashley used them for 10 years, with the result that he damaged his brain, stopped feeling emotions, and is also dependent on Koi's pheromones. That might have been decades ago, but in KMIYC Chase was already in a bad condition with all the drugs he additionally took. And in the side stories he reached the breaking point.
Who knows, probably Nathaniel finds something more effective in the future, since he has a medical degree, and won't release pheromones the normal way anymore because of Chris. And we have Hayden who owns a pharmaceutical company.

He has both, but he works as a lawyer and took over the law firm after their father went into politics.

Ahh yes! I found out of it in desire me if you can novel (that he had a law degree and studied with Keith at the same uni) but bc he wants to find his fated partner he went into all sorts of jobs and that Nathanial handles all of the legal stuff (and Chrissy too lol), they even mentioned in the side story of dmiyc that Chrissy was there to make sure nothing bad would happen when he went to apologize to Chase as per Dane’s order but how do we find out about Hayden and Keith side of the family? I only know about Keith and Angel, but not the other siblings/partners (i read kiss me liar manhwa, and didn’t really get the desire to read the novel so i’m skipping that)

As far as i understand Chase has cut off most (if not all) of his biological family off, the only time that Nate helped Grayson and Chase was when he sent Chrissy to be the peacemaker between the two of them as Grayson wanted to apologize for giving Chase a shitty childhood (his other family members did nothing either to ease Chase’s suffering so i understand him cutting off his family members lol, i just hope Ashley and Koi regret the childhood they gave him as Chase looks to be the happiest of all of them now that he’s got his own family)
Yea maybe, but funny enough both of those novels are on my “to read next” list, i just need to find out which of them i’m gonna read first! (In the meantime i hope to dmiyc novel side stories will be released too!)
Hayden is a dominant alpha, he will get his own story. He is one of Angel's children. He is in KML extras, mentioned in DMIYC, and a side character in Kiss the Stranger. I think Grayson is friends with him too, they talked about Keith behind his back. All of his half siblings knew before Keith himself that he was in love with Yeonwoo, thanks to Grayson. lol

If you mean in "Kiss me if you can", he was busy and it was not worth trying, would have only lost more money.
Grayson has shares of Keith's company ( and who knows where else) and did some investments. It was also mentioned that he invested family money for some time as a hobby. Those things are mentioned in KML and LMUIYC extras. So most likely Grayson is someone who preferes money working for him and not the other way round. But it probably looks like for most that Ashley is paying for everything.lol
"Kiss me,...." is it's own series, so far only "Kiss me liar" was released, but Angel and his four other half siblings will get their own stories. Since Zig is done with the Millers series, she will most likely release those next.
You have Hayden, Byron, Gillan (?), the fourth? no idea. Hayden is extremely rich and own a pharmaceutical company. I think of him we know the most. You can see him in one panel in the manhwa adaption of KML, he is the man with the eyepatch in the extras. Why he wears that eyepatch you already find out in Kiss the Stanger.
Another one is a fashion designer and trade with military weapons etc. and another one is the CEO of a company. The titles of the stories are known for many years. But that is all I know.
I just finished part 1, so does it get better for our MC in part 2 . So much angst going on and I m afraid to continue part 2 of the novel. Please no spoilers here .
