This story feels like it has too many elements put out everywhere that it's starting to look messy imo. First the FL's story then it branches to the people she's helped teach around her or aid them in their times of need, then the ML's entrance to the story which was weird as well. The way they placed the premise of his feelings for her, showing their past in the academy wasn't really justfying him showing his undying loyalty toward her. The way they introduced the duchess and made their relationship strained and furthered it with the children saying they wished FL was their mother... they didn't elaborate on that any further.. they proceeded to do a segue towards jane and do the whole watchdog thing then went to the latest chapter about a curse on the duke? I mean come on... focus on a few elements and stick to that. At this point I don't even know what the main character's objectives are in this world. What is she meant to do? Idk this story is lacking a strong foundation and a lot of elements do not have enough justification to even be included in the story. I'm only staying for mikhail but honestly if the next chapters don't give anything more to the story I'm out. It's a shame but it's too messy.
I'm just happy they have other powerful allies like the asmodeus and barbato clan. Mephisto as well. That's 3 members of the 13 crowns, plus the 3 greats, plus their classmates and their families (all who seemed at one point in time or another been in the position of being a member of the 13 crowns or a high rank, I'm also guessing they were all deliberately placed in the same class as Iruma by grandpa for the sake of them becoming his support in the future) , the azazels, the school faculty. With enough convincing they might be able to rally the rest of the 13 crowns since it looked like only baal was the bitch..oh and Kalego's brother.
I think the enemy's goal is to use iruma's blood to have demons return to their origin - is that the term they used I forgot. Anyway I'm assuming that's what they want and that's the kind of netherworld this wanna-be demon king wants.

No, Baal wants Iruma's blood because he confirmed he's covered by Delkira's mana (I just reread fr Deviculum up to now). He wants to use his blood to strengthen him not necessarily to return to origins, since Delkira is the strongest demon on record.
Narnia is 13th crown and is part of Baal's crowd although his motivation is very Nazi-like (i.e., netherworld is for demons only - all other creatures are trash and should either serve demons or be their food or just die). Baal is now the demon king so they have to tread carefully as he is backed by the deity princess. But I think some will help on the sly.
After so long it's officially ended! Callisto is such a great ML and Penelope is a wonderfully made main character. She stuck through it till the end, she didn't waver, she was brave when she needed to be and very rational with her decisions! 10/10
I think Lavini has had a grudge with having a brother or the system at the time where sons are prized and daughters are seen as property, what with her saying he became head simply by being born a son. Looking back her brother had shown being human more, with previous chapters I've read of him showing hesitation and questioning the decisions of his sister. It's just a shame that Lavini is a rotten bitch to the core..also I love saying her name, so pretty~
I agree, and I honestly think that's the reason why she hates tia and shannet (other than them being in the way of. her plans). Because unlike her they got the privilege to be recognized as the head of the house. Unlike her who had to be sold to that son of a bitch of an emperor, and watched her incompetent brother get the seat of the head just because he was born a son, even though she was definitely more qualified.
that also ties nicely with the fact that she doesn't mind (and she knows) tht her own son is growing to become incompetent. Although she pushes him to be better than Perez, she doesnt care if he's good enough to be an emperor. We initially thought she was always spoiling her son for power (he sits on the throne, glory for her and Angenas) and just becuse she is her own son. But last time, when her son confronted her, she showed that her ambition is becoming the REAL power behind the throne. Which means that the frustration at being born a woman and not being able to inherit like her own incompetent brother has made her eye the highest position of power
THIS IS SO GOOD! I mean I know it's already good but the way the current chapter showed the hidden strain in the relationship is just waaaay to reminiscent of real life. Peops to the author again! From the current chapter 152 through Maxi's POV and inner thoughts you can actually decipher that the relationship has become and will be stagnant from there and she has slowly identified in herself that there is growth that needs to be done be it consciously or subconsciously but at this point in their relationship it's become like a stale mate of some sorts, traumatic in some parts..I know what will be happening next because of the spoilers and lemme tell ya these have been set up so beautifully by this chapter alone, their emotions weighing heavily on them, what'd be best for them moving forward...simply to put it's growth, they need to both grow as individuals and let the other person breath first before they can fix their relationship..sort of like to be whole you must break into pieces first or something idk I just woke up and might just be rambling but u get the point.
Anyway tldr. maxi needs that time for herself she needs to focus on herself alone and not think of riftan, anatol etc etc for her to find herself, heal,.build self confidence , and to be able to live and love fiercely and enjoy being alive.
Agree, when I had seen the spoiler that she was going to leave I was annoyed & questioned what would be strong enough for her to leave. When I started reading the novel & now seeing it drawn it is easy to see that's literally their only option. Because if they both continued as is they would suufucate each other. It's gets more intense with the following episodes. Even here you can start seeing Maxis frustration with herself
