What’s the ending?? I don’t mind spoilers, I’ve been waiting for this to end for foreverrrrr and just want to know what how it gets resolved at this point

basically they kind of die together in the end. I don't know if the author is planning to explain themselves maybe in the extras or something, but at the end of the last chapter it seemed like they die together when they fall under the ice in the water

Yeah I’ve thought about it too.
But don’t you think it’d be too parallel to Misumi and Kurobane’s story?
And after all Doumeki’s effort to stay by Yashiro’s side, it’d be too sad to have an endgame like that.
I’m aware that this is not a fluffy manga, but I want to believe there’ll be a better ending for them.
