And while the new art isn’t BAD - in fact way better than some art changes I liked the original so much! The newer art change seems more gun shy with the female leads body and draws “simpler” or “sorta chibi like images more often”. Plus the original art seemed, mmmh, more raunchy? Risqué? I guess that’s how we could say it. And this seems like they scaled back on that almost like a shy censorship. Which is sad, the more risqué art at the beginning added to the story. I’m really hoping the art change is cause of an injury and not a replaced artist…but my hopes are low lmao

…I never really liked any of the pairs. I thought the best fit would be Shuri or Mai - and Mai was clearly a barely ok pair based off familial logistics.
