For all the people complaining about the rape. Omegaverse is one big excuse for non-consensual sex from BOTH sides. If you didn’t pay attention to what they say about the pheromones, they’re making people do stuff they don’t want to. Probably that’s why it even exists. And it’s a FICTION not a real life ffs.
No it's not why it exists. It started in western fanfiction world and I've been reading it for years in many many fanfictions across many fandoms. And really I've only read a couple with rape in it AND it was always clearly a rape. Omegaverse is not the problem here. I really don't know why rape is so prevalent in japanese (and korean tbh) manga.
then just don't read it if you don't like it..i mean its just a story. come on..
Alot of Japanese and korean media view gay relationships as a fetish for straight women. So alot of the logic is skewed and unrealistic since to the media this is just 'porn' and rape is a quick excuse for sex without developing relationships.

And i know it's just a story and an authors fantasy tbh, but stories do reflect life and it's kinda worrying how many people want rape in their stories. Also in many mangas it's not like you know it's gonna have rape, you just wanna read a cute, smutty story and there's suddenly rape in it. I mean one of the comments says "The best thing about the alpha Megumi here is ..he is respectful & don't treat omegas as lowly beings...& the story too is cute & no rapey shit." so... you can understand why people are upset xd still gonna read it tho probably
and also you know... people are allowed to read a story and not like something and express it

I think out of all the other omegaverses, this one is less worse than any other omegaverse's character's reaction in raping the omega
It's also nice Tsugumi doesn't blame him at all for what happened. Though he won't verbally blame his own heat, he understands he tried his best not to bring them to that point. Other than convenience, I suppose it is another reason why he told his parents it was consensual.
But poor Megumi has it hard in the beginning of the second volume. He certainly is in this one-sided...
