Im not really sure if i prefer the emperor or the mage… both of them aren’t exactly model fathers and its hard to say which was worse but feels like the author is really pushing the mage route so ig its gonna be him
I would say the father who silently watched her isolate herself without saying a word for 10 years or so, fully noticing her changes in behavior, is worse than the one who fixed his attitude after spending 5 minutes with her
I mean Lenguin kinda ignored her as well he never once tried looking for her after Katherine gave birth to Phil. He knew she was out there but never once looked for her... He also didn't treat his 3 sons well at all. I love Lenguin but he is not the better parent option at all, he can't even connect to Phil emotionally per Lexion's words. Both Lenguin and Eustis have their faults but they both love Phil at the end of the day. Personally I think Eustis redeemed himself far more than most father-daughter Manhwas. Most dad's in those manhwas kill their daughters in the original story but that wasn't the case with Eustis. If anything he apologized to Phil for not being there for her when she was young and needed him and took the blame of her ending up as she did because of him in the original. I personally like both Eustis and Lenguin and think she should keep both and have as much love as possible from her two dads!

or under spell. And he did ignore the first 10 years of Phil’s childhood and only starts to bond with her because of Phil’s effort.
And I think Lenguin did not know Phil’s existence, he was mad at Katherine about this and he mentioned this to her at the tower
No Eustis didn't kill Phil in the ORIGINAL novel. He killed her in the fake Ellensia's fanfiction. It's the whole reason the reason the fake Ellensia wrote the fanfic, because she was mad Phil didn't die in the original and that Ellensia and Eustis forgave Phil for her evil deeds and Eustis even apologized to her for his neglect. We saw that when Phil hit the fake Ellensia with the crystal ball thingy.

Well she did mess up. She would rather be around another girl that is her ex than be around her gf. And she ignored her the whole time. She is unstable and a huge red flag who knows what she will do if something bad happens again. At this point it too much for Sera to deal with, Sera has her own baggage. She struggled to get through to her when she refused to even date her and now this is happening again.
Girl please. I'm not saying sera doesn't have her own stuff but i think it's the bare minimum to try and at least understand your so called gf that is going thru something way way worse. Nothing could compare to loosing your family, and it's not like she just went to that girl for no reason. No one else actually helped her
She didn’t asked for help, she just left and self sabotage again, and even Jimin herself knows it that’s why she’s saying she wants to change. Those people around her are willing to help her, but she herself doesn’t want to and that’s okay, but her choosing her ex of all people to keep her company IS WRONG AF and very disrespectful to her partner even if it has no malice. Cause even if Jimin think only of her as a friend or wtvr, the ex still has different motive.
Sera being fed up is realistic wise if you ever had a wlw relationship. This relationship is so tiring, and draining, they both need to separate and work on themselves.
I’m not trying to undermine what Jimin went through don’t get me wrong, cause I know how it felt to loose your parens, but even she herself know her way of coping is wrong, that’s self sabotage and she knows it. She wants to change but it’s too late now. Sera is not a Saint where she can keep waiting and help Jimin to heal, only Jimin can do that. Support wouldn’t even help Jimin’s case cause instead of talking, she pushed everyone and just as she said, “she closes up” and do wtvr coping she can think off (either sleeping with people or getting drunk). I have no problem with how people cope, but this type of coping is only destroying yourself, Jimin and her friends knows that too. I just hope she works on herself more than keeping Sera. She need to let Sera go so she can focus on herself.

I mean based on their high school interaction before the fight, it was obvious they do a lot of blunt and sarcastic jokes with each other. Calling her kitten as fishy was one of it. Even after they reconciled, Jinah would often make a lot of blunt jokes regardless where they were. Honestly, me and my female friends would joke like that cause we know we're not trying to insult each other. In the end, it all depends on the person
