Soooo about the Bodyguard and Naro…I honestly wished the side stories were about them. Or that they could get their own smaller story. Was muuuuuch more interested in them towards the end.
Been on a mafia/ yakuza kick for a while and it just dawned on me that I would give my left pinky toe nail to read a BL manhwa where the ML looks like Ma Dong-seok. He’s a fucking strong ass bear body wise but behind the scenes, he’s just a big ol’ teddy bear. It’s times like this I wish I knew how to draw and write a webtoon of my own or something.

Guys, I started reading this, still at the very beginning—and I love it, but is it a situation where the MC’s BFF/Crush likes someone else and now that MCs in that person’s body, BFF/Crush will like him or something?
Okay MC. Now do you remember? ML is serious. The least you can do is think about it seriously and give him an answer. As a matter of fact, just let him get to the Chairman position and have y’all’s baby already. And both of yall need to apologize to each other and mean it. Not only are yall miscommunication, but yall are missing the point here.
Legit hated that this was so short. It could’ve been a cute little story with at least 4 - 6 more chapters and maybe a few sides. I would’ve liked more world building especially. The whole constellation thing seemed like it could’ve been interesting.
I’m only on Chapter 10. I’m gonna keep going, but there’s literally 3-4 guys that look RXACTLY ALIKE and it’s getting kinda hard to tell them apart. Or maybe I’ve been reading manga/manhwa all day that my eyes are tired and not seeing them correctly. But nah, every other character with long black hair looks like the ML.
Been seeing this for quite some time and it’s always had a high rating, but I always skipped it for some reason. But when I read Bride of Darkness, I finally came to this and I’m glad I did! My only problem is with myself for not reading it sooner. But it’s a good story and I’m a LOVER of dragons! So that was a big plus in my book.

The ML is Gisel, the Duke. And he’s like the “Cold Duke of the North” in Isekai/Historical Straight stories. But he just wants peace and quiet.
MC is Rensley, the illegitimate child of someone somewhere. It said daughter tho. But then it said something about Rensley being a knight?? And something about someone’s true identity??
This is the fourth time I’ve read this. It’s still so cute! But am I the only one who wanted to know how the movie turned out?? I kinda wanted either more sides or a sequel. I wanna know how the movie turned out—maybe see the premiere or something. And see how Lyle’s career moved forward and also Kyu.
Okay, I think I have several tentacle stories saved, but this is probably the first one that I’ve fully committed to reading. I’ve always been curious about tentacle stories, but grossed out at the same time so, that’s what kept me from getting into them. I’m glad I decided to read and stick with this one. It’s pretty good! Seme is kinda a green flag. He’s got a thing or two that makes me side-eye him, but he is an alien so….
Yeeeeah, I think around chapter 3 or 4, I stopped paying attention and just accepted that I’m just here along for the ride. Smut scenes are my shit, but I even zoomed past a few of these in this one bc I couldn’t care less. And the weird and uneven body proportions were aggravating and took me even more out of the story. Oh, and the son? The author/illustrator dint even remotely try with him. They just copied and pasted the ML and even changed his hair color from brown like MCs to black like the ML. You can tell the author at one point didn’t care anymore about the story and just created something to send in and finished. And I’m in love with dragons so this whole story was such a waste on a majestic creature.
Yall, help!!! CORN CHIP??? As in Fritos?! Did the author really just write Seme smelling CORN CHIPS and getting off on it?! And there’s an editor somewhere in this universe that signed off on this. I have dogs if my own so I know their little toe beans can have a corn chip smell. But did the author really have to include that in? It took me out of the scene completely to the point where if the next chapter has smut, I don’t think I’ll be able to take it seriously. I’m gonna be thinking about that corn chip smell the whole time.
I read this in a night. Just so happen to catch it when the last chapter was posted. Is it just me or did it end fast??? Stuff finally happened and then BAM!! “THE END!” I was left sitting here blinking…… “….is that…..is that the end???!”
Is it just me or did it seem like KW kept getting bigger and more muscular towards the end??? Geez by the time the side stories came around, he looked legit roided up.
I can honestly say that this is the first time that I’ve hated EVERY SINGLE MAIN & SECONDARY CHARACTER from a manga of this trope. I hate the ML, who’s a pussyfied doormat; the FL, who’s missing her whole entire backbone; the Priest of the FL, who has no sense of awareness in the situation at hand; the Saint, who’s a whiny brat; and the Priest of the Saint, who’s an insufferable piece of shit. All of them can go to hell……for different reasons, of course.
I actually wanna see this to the end. It’s been a wacky ride thus far, so I gotta know how it ends. It’s just one wacky thing happening after another. And honestly? I wanna see Audrey/Heroine with maybe one of the other love interests. Maybe Eric! Is that his name? The tall one that’s a Knight or whatever, with the scar.
Dang, I was hoping more would be posted. I’m reeeeally wanting to see the King and his Mate head to the guillotine like the end of the last chapter said. I’m ready for it. I’m craving it as a matter of fact.
And how DARE Ymir/Mate talk about how men bought her for sex and made her feel like shit when she has a WHOLE ASS SLAVE that she bought and is torturing?!!! I’m sorry for what she went through—and the King. I genuinely am. No one should have to go through what they went through, but people have suffered because of their selfishness and stupidity. They are some of the stupidest characters in manga history. I’m ready for the guillotine! Off with their heads!
I seriously get tired of these stories where people are whispering around the FL and she hears it and just stands there not saying anything. Or when someone comes up and is disrespectful and they just stand there meek and mild. I know it’s just how things were done back in the day, but I’m sure there were some who opened their mouth when someone said something outta whack. And besides, these authors have the power to write whatever. Why must they always write the FL allowing people to just say what they wanna say???!
Does anyone know of any historical Isekai stories where the FL opens her damn mouth and doesn’t let ppl walk all over them or talk about them?
One more thing: she’s originally 30. Why is she still so childish when it comes to men? Maybe it’s bc I’m so old. And I understand being bashful, but girl come on. In chapter 3, they’re in the Inn, getting out of the rain and she’s having a fit in her mind that they’re alone together. Girl, you’re originally 30….30!
UGH!!! Is it just me or has the last few chapters been more exciting than we’ve seen in awhile in this story?? And now there’s a cliffhanger and we’ll have to wait probably a great deal of time to find out what happens. It was getting so good too!!!! I can’t wait! I hope to high heaven that Martu is okay. He HAS to be okay so that when Baro comes back (wherever the hell he is!!), they can hurry up and be together! I need that couple to happen ASAP just like I need Dyne and the Elf Guy (I forgot his name ) to happen!!
And that Lamilian or whatever her name is? She can go to hell and kiss my ass while she’s at it. She knows something is wrong, but she would sacrifice the future King even though she doesn’t want to admit that her husband doesn’t want her and she’s practically useless as a wife.
