While I don't have a problem with the story and TJ (there's obviously something wrong with him and his psyche) but it's just dragging out. Author needs to use TJ's bad mental health to create suspenseful situations so the chapters feel like im actually reading something and stuff is happening. But its sooooo badly paced.
I find this comic to be a very shallow story of what's really going on in the novel. The novel describes Winston's tiranny and subtle emotions a lot better than the comic. In comic i just find him abusive and quite honestly looking pathetic. Grace is also more complex in novel, while here she's seems just a victim of her own body. Idk.
In the the novel, winston was way brutal and disgusting; it's good they cut some scenes while Grace is still the same being brutalized.
Actually, quite an unexpected ending. All other dark romances have the MC be reedemable at the end, or he grovels etc. this one not in the slightest.
