Reading the last chapter while listening to the anime OST titled "the summer hikaru died" made me bawl my eyes out omgggggggggg yoshiki laughing so carefreely after 50 chapters of anxiety and heartache aaa i'm so happy for him eventhough he had to leave his family, this whole thing is so bittersweet and hopeful. I'm glad that yoshiki got the closure and happiness he deserves, and im also glad that hikaru is finally at rest (with his daddyyyy god im crying) and that his family & friends got to mourn him properly. This finale is the best thing ever that happened to me this year tbh

The fact that this manga is an allegory to the reality of being a queer person in a queerphobic society yet it has a happy, hopeful ending means so much to me. I love this manga so frickin much, gonna buy the fullset once it comes out

Bruh i fucking cried like wow....the loneliness and tenderness in this chapter kinda broke me into pieces. I guess i had been holding it in since like 5 chapters ago, and it truly dawned on me just now how precious garam is as a person. How warmly and softly he should have been held. Idk man. I'm not saying that what he had with heejae was all bad, but. As he said himself, it's a sharp love. And idk if garam as a person, free from heejae's demands, is suited for that kind of love. And im not saying that youngjo deserves garam, not at all, he's still a bastard for what he did 8 years ago, but seeing him loving garam like this made me so emotional. I've said this a million times, garam is such a softhearted and kind person. He deserves to be loved kindly. I hope what happened in this chapter doesn't make anything worse, i don't want him to get hurt more than he already had.

Anyway next week is hiatus so suicide is back on the table i guess
