I've said this in reply to another comment but i want to say it again:
1. Compton saying that telling the other person what they want to hear isn't hard. Saying sorry isn't hard, eventhough compton basically has the same mindset as heejae regarding music, and eventhough he himself didn't feel like apologizing. SAYING SORRY ISN'T HARD.
2. The visible resentment in garam's face when he threw that snowball holy crap
3. The flowers withering, the thread snapping, the slight indifference in garam's mannerism when he accepted heejae's affection

Just an fyi, the remaining 2 chapters will not be a spliced chapter. The respective chapter 50 and 51 will be released as a whole (no 50-1, 50-2, etc) so that's why there will be a full 2 month wait before it concludes.

The fact that heejae treated him like some kid throwing tantrums and dismissed his demand for apology yet AGAIN, and the fact that garam was on the verge of exploding but calmed himself down....oh garam you deserve the world. You deserve everything you wanttttttt god i hate heejae so much in that moment. I hope garam can break free from the current heejae. Like i love the two of them, i'm rooting for them, but at this point i want garam to be happy more than i want them to stay together. And i want heejae to become human, more than i want to understand his cruel side.

You will understand heejae much better if you just see him as what he is: a boomer asian man. Even worse, he's korean AND rich. So yeah, him doing everything but apologizing makes sense, because that's literally every old asian man ever. He reminds me of so many male authoritative figures in my life and it was sooo satisfying to see him fumbling and sweating bullets in front of garam, who looked so serene and calm in contrast. I was fully on board with them making up last week, but now? I'm looking forward to the day han garam fully develops his frontal lobe and breaks heejae's heart in return.
