Spoilers (while trying to keep it minimal spoilers)
The reasoning behind why Grayson got in the cellar with him is actually way more logical than I originally thought. I thought he was insane at first too, but when he explains himself, you learn a lot about how Grayson thinks! The author does a good job of building his character. It’s not a completely bullet proof character explanation, but it’s damn close to it. The author is definitely talented! Trust the process and don’t judge too early :) I didn’t care for Grayson at all (from the previous stories, for obvious reasons- I honestly just absolutely love Dane and started reading it because of him lol) and irl I’m a harsh judge of character, but Grayson really won me over. By the end, these two had me sobbing, laughing, frustrated, cheering, etc. every emotion under the sun, I became SO invested in these two. They are really well written and I hope people stick with these two til the end because it really is worth the read! There are definitely frustrating and angsty moments, but they really end up loving each other so much. Grayson LOVES Dane with every fiber of his being and became a better person because of it. And the same goes for Dane! These two are my favorite couple in their universe for sure. I would say their story is one of patience and empathy, spurned on by extenuating circumstances. I would say that Grayson actually displays the truest form of romantic love as possible out of all the tops in their universe (by the end of the novel). Trust the process! <3
I don’t mind a little miscommunication here and there to make things a bit dramatic in stories, but this is really grasping at straws. I’m struggling to understand the reason why the author is dragging it on so long. It genuinely doesn’t seem to serve the plot or characters to do so? Like it doesn’t add anything and creates so many plot holes that just leave you like. “Huh??” Towards a lot of Jaeha’s inner thoughts and reasoning. It started out paced really well and believable, but the longer it goes the more my soul is drying out.
Just finished the novel and these two are by far my favorite couple of the group so far. Their dynamic is written in a way that makes them match each other really well. Both of them go through so much character growth, it’s very satisfying, and if I had to say there was an ideal “fated pair,” these two would be it! Although Grayson definitely has some screws lose, Dane is there to catch them and put them back both of them are problematic in their owns ways, but I genuinely find their dynamic to be matched up really well it’s like they both have these massive issues, but the other person is there to remedy those issues in a complementary way that leaves me feeling like “wow, that’s so perfect!” I’ll miss them so much and I really hope we get more about them eventually
The concept of guideverse is always so cool and intriguing but then somehow the plot or character relationships/dynamics always end up trash after it drags on. I had a lot of hope for this one so I’m kinda disappointed in this so far :( I really hope it gets better or I’m just gonna drop yet another guideverse….i am still itching to read a good BL guideverse with good action, character dynamics, and no shitty plot Pacing a novel into a manhwa is hard but I am legit so thirsty for a good BL guideverse and have yet to come across one
i really love “dazzling breath,” it’s not completed, but i read the novel and it’s so good. the mc, a guide, is super strong & has the capability to kill espers. the plot is really good & keeps you interested, i stayed interested in it outside of the mc&ml’s relationship. i loved the dynamic between the main two, especially because there isn’t a power imbalance. they love each other so much. to add, i really liked most of the side characters. there’s women that are strong & fleshed out, they have their own motivations and desires- i feel like that’s a rarity in bl. i totally recommend that manhwa.

This is so sad for the all of them…I feel so bad for all three of them
