Pretty normal to me. At the age, my friends already talk about liking someone, planning to marry, even making a list for our future children. It's just like the kids playing houses

I would normally think so... that's like playing house... but that's taken as a joke and that is not happening here. The only one who treated it like a child's joke was the teacher. Look, kids giving each other love potions? Real, working ones? They are drawn like kids (kinda cuz they definitely don't look 6), but act like pre-teens. Usually at 6 kids are learning to read and write right? Even if the mc is seen as a "genius" for learning so fast... to throw kids to a dormitory school to learn magic like that?

There's a clear difference between their ages and how they behave... even the "heroine" 6yo making and selling bread without an adults supervision? Going around the town alone too. And if they are 6 what's the micro bikini girl's age? Is she 11-12? 17-18? I wish they at least corrected their ages to be around 11-12... it would make a lot more sense with what they do and how they act...

Err... No offense, but i'm talking about my childhood back then. Not related to this story.

But... Regarding what you wrote, I think in that world, the children was being treated like a small adult. Especially since they're are all the child of nobles that is expected to be knowledgeable and quite mature at their age compared to the children of commoner. That's why they are sent to dormitory early so that they can learn to be independent. Anything they do is on them, right or wrong.

I do get your points about their academic capabilities. But I still think they are being portrayed like they are older than their age. Physically and mentally.
