I don't mind stories like this. I just see this as someone's fetish/kink that they wrote out. Disturbing stuff doesn't bother me too much anymore, at least, when it's fictional. I think that is saving me a lot of mental gymnastics these days.
Only problem I have is that I don't like the daughter/niece. She's kind of annoying to me. She's really childish, and it could stem from her trauma, but at this point she's supposably 20, acting like a horny teenager. Girl, stop I'm not saying she should be peak maturity, but she could definitely gain some sense at this point. Bring back the brown haired girl.
For once, can I get a nice rainbow colored ml don't get me wrong, I love them all, they're hot, but blond hair and blue eyes, black hair & black/blue/red eyes? Even silver hair is over used. We running out of colors gimme a redhead. Gimme a grassy haired menace, or a pink haired playboy idk.
If y'all got recommendations, lmk. Genuinely love this story so far, but ya know how it is. Tired of the same thing sometimes.

I mean... We tried to cook but we burned water in the bottom of the pan. I could turn off my brain for a second and read, and I did. Story is a typical BL, there was character development, learning and growing but I feel like the redemption just wasn't enough for what he did. Granted, in the situation all that matters is what the other party wants to do.
Was there an international struggle with Asil? Yep. He didn't just brush everything under a rug and be like "well the sex is good so I'll forgive him". He really had to struggle within himself to be able to let go of hatred and begin to love the ML, however... I feel like there should've been more. Asil should have had a support system so things wouldn't seem like the ML was all he had. Granted, that was true. His family basically abandoned him to pursue their own happiness, and there's nothing wrong with that, sometimes that's just how it is.
But goddammit if Vallery (?) doesn't get on his knees and beg for forgiveness every single day, I don't want it. He did what he did true to his character, and I like that, both characters seemed like real people. The soft moments that made Asil question Vallery's (?) humanity were really real to me. I guess all and all, it was pretty rushed. I knew the moment Asil got poisoned what Vallery (?) was gonna do from them on out. Within my expectations, 7/10
