is it just a korea thing where everyone is so hopelessly obsessed with each others dating lives and relationship status'? Is it just a trope in all of these stories with romance elements between the main character and their friends or acquaintances or is this like a real reflection of the social culture over there. Or maybe it's like this everywhere and I've just never met anyone who barrage the people around them with endless questions about who they're with and when they're gonna get serious.
It's actually pretty common to be asked those type of questions pretty much anywhere when you hit a certain age. Plus, romance and love lives are usually a pretty fun and exciting topic of conversation among friends. However, if you and your friends don't really involve yourself in love and dating then it probably won't come up.
I get what you're saying, but I was just saying in general. I agree it's not anyone's business, but people do like to ask about that stuff because knowing about someone's love life is exciting to some. I personally don't get those questions because I'm not at that age yet and am not surrounded by people that date lol
is it just a bl thing at this point? Why do so many cheating exes in these stories insert themselves to speak for either party. As if they have some kind of space to talk about respecting and being serious about their ex, as if they didn't suck during their relationship. Ig it's an easy way to dump a lot of information on you, but it just makes the character come across as annoying or insufferable, they're just way too confident in their significance to their exes new relationship
we keep running into the same problem both with the disagreements in their relationship (always relating to how there's some inevitable end to them on the horizon) and mc's utter refusal to ask for help for the sake of his pride. I assume it's influenced by the social culture of korea, which is why this kind of conflict is so prevalent in these kinds of manhwa, but this is getting a little tired when it's the root of every issue
idk what it is about these kinds of self-concious yet overconfident virgin mc's but they really get on my nerves. I'm not talking about the jealousy or possesiveness, but how are you gonna be such a loser virgin that takes no action, actively or passively, towards the person you like, then get mad when someone does it better than you.
I really wish i knew what was so attractive to manhwa creators about these, outwardly displaying, teetering-on lobotomy chic uke's and their anxiety disorder-riddled self hatred, that is somehow always labeled as a kind of unnamed anxiety and nervousness, purely just by what the reader can assume rather than what the creator can write. Wonwoo feels like one in a myriad of examples of these uke that staunchly believe that nothing they do will ever justifiably vy the attraction of anyone, which could absolutely say something beyond the surface, but it usually goes no further than: I've never had a partner and my parents were abusive. Incredibly invigorating stuff going on. This medium is half visual but also half dialogue, so it's always just kind of disappointing when the latter half doesn't feel as cared for, in favour of blushing and size difference.
I wanna leave some room to sit with opinions on the writing and story so far since not much has happened but like the other 2 works from songhyel but god do they know how to draw things that actually feel sexy or erotic(honestly not just in this work but also lovesick dog and ouroboros too). The cheek peeking below the briefs, a shot lingering on his nipple but not the focus, the bulge through his briefs too. Idk where or how seonghyel got their intel but this is good shit

at ch4 so i assume this changes: mc is FUCKING useless rn man. Like its a romcom kind of gag manhwa so im not sincerely upset, but i believe mc when he says hes bad at school, yamhead got nothing goin on up there
nvm he stays stupid, which ig works for them so whatever
