Is this an original work or does it have a novel? I feel like there were some details missing in the first chapter? Or maybe I’m just early for one. Either way, looks promising!!!
It has a novel! It’s just missing some details like inner thoughts of our main character and I would consider the prologue to be chapter 1 instead, but so far it included the main points of the first chapters of the novel. It’s a really good one! Our ML is a whole green forest!

it's not fully translated yet, only up to around volume 4 is translated (it has 6 volumes total for the novel, 4 volumes for the main story and 2 volumes for the side story)

So I feel pretty confident in that the MLs dad (the one killed by MC) was a bad dude and planning to sell off his son. I feel like he was in debt or something to the MCs father and, like the new character (21yr old MD student who was just sold off), the dad sold his son. But something went wrong and the MC went after him.
