Sometime, including yano, forgiving someone who hurt us is something that we could do to bring peace to ourself. Yano making peace with his pos dad wont elevate his dad out of mistake that he has done. Its simply his own triumph to overcome the scars that the abuse has left

About dynamics between the main it's nice,something different from other works. I love how strong Kat is. But for real, ml sucks, like there was not enough atonement, he fricking harassed, kissed her without her consent, was breaking into her room without knocking etc. So yeah ,if you he weren't ml he would be more acknowledged as a harasser, without any reason to be forgive.
