Seriously this sounds like one of those Reddit drama stories, with the OP’s fiance being emotionally abusive to make sure that she’s dependent on him for validation. But then one of their acquaintances lets it slip that he said he wished he never proposed to her, so OP breaks off the engagement and moves on with her life but the ex fiance takes it badly and tries to assault her new partner. And OP’s family is supportive of her, but his family/friends are enabling the toxic behavior that they are also victims of.
And all of the comments are screaming NTA and how glad they are that OP got away from that cheating, abusive bastard.
The ML has definitely had a thing for his childhood friend for a while. That’s why he’s pissed she avoided him, hates her boyfriend, and jumped at the chance to start something with her.

If it had turned out Brown Black still needed Seojun’s magic ability this far into their career, I would have been so disappointed. But they didn’t need it because they had always been talented and hardworking! The skill helped them through a rough patch but BB has the ability to walk the rest of the path by themselves and we love to see that growth!!!
Honestly, I was expecting something closer to the artist’s previous work, but I’m happy to see that the ML and FL are building characterization outside of the bedroom. The FL in particular is fascinating, with the combination of her terrible family and her conflicted feelings about her (alleged) dominatrix nature.
But also props the ML for not going full simp and dissolving into a wet rag of a man. Just because he’s a masochist doesn’t mean he’s a pushover; he still plays the role of a protective tyrannical prince very well. And he’s enthusiastically confident about being a sub, which is great to see when most titles make the experienced dom be the one to convince the noob sub to do BDSM. Overall, just a great balance of characteristics that don’t make me despair over the intelligence of the ML.
Two religions are actually under the same god? The sun gets its power from the moon? The only person this will ever apply to is the FL?
I don’t usually accuse Mary Sue, but the utter convenience of the FL unlocking a healing ability she never worked for in the same moment some important character is injured is… absurd. (￣へ￣)

From what I’ve seen so far, Loreina is genuinely more compelling as a character than Sienna. I understand why Loreina is the way she is (greed, entitlement, her parents) and how that connects to what she’s going to do next (be a total scheming bitch) to get what she wants (power, status). Meanwhile, Sienna makes no sense to me and I don’t even know what it is that she wants anymore.
To be fair sienna never asked for reincarnation like other people do. So it makes sense. she doesn't want anything, except for things to not go how they were before. She doesn't even care if she is part of the dukes family. In fact at the start, she wanted to avoid the duke all together.
If she doesn’t want things to go how they did before, Sienna’s already won. She’s a Named, and officially entered the Nacht family. Even if Loreina also gets adopted, there’s no way she could still use Sienna as a maid. So why’s she still fighting?
As for avoiding the duke? Maybe she didn’t ask for reincarnation, but she could at least plan an escape or a business or anything long term like those characters do. But let’s give her benefit of the doubt. Sienna was just acknowledged by the emperor as a quasi-royal, so why didn’t she ask him to take her in? That should have been her big break, earning the favor of someone stronger than Nacht.
For someone who hates the duke so much, she seems perfectly comfortable living as their little princess. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
No way asking a royal family to take her in is a stupid move. She died knowing everyone have big ass expectation on her and she thinks shes a failure. If the royal family take her in thats because shes of use for them not because of familial reason like Nacht who went to adopt her. If Loreina do something unexpected the first life incidents would be all repeated just in a different background in the royal family and would be publicly spread as a failure not only for the family but for the freakin entire kingdom.
I never said she hated the duke. I mean she might have. She's a very passive character. So you're right, she did succeed in stopping the original story by this. At first she didn't want to be part of the dukes, because of her trauma from being pushed away from them, but they've been proven different this time, to an extent. Also they did give a timeline from when the sister entered the duke, which I think is like a year after transmigration or 6 months or something. So I guess that's where this story is waiting for? And MC isn't realizing the butterfly affect going on. MC does heavily struggle with the "transmigration into a child, and mentality becomes a child syndrome". But ya this book never sets a clear goal. She just wants a peaceful life this time, and she doesn't care who it comes from. I don't even think she thinks she's going to ever get loved at this point, which we know she will. We also know that the dukes family is going to get their memories back soon... So that's gunna be satisfying, but ya this story isn't going anywhere unique
Thanks for acknowledging Sienna doesn’t realize the butterfly effect. It really bugged me when Hessaros had to explain to her that she has a different status now.
And back to my original point, the lack of a clear goal is why Loreina is a more convincing character for me. I know what she wants and why she wants it, so I understand what her relationships with others are going to look like. Sienna’s lack of care in how she achieves her ultimate goal kind of makes her relationships with others messy.
He KNEW his mother(s) would go so far as to kill his wife, but still let them be in charge? He didn’t - just spitballing here - establish her authority as the Duchess and make sure everybody knew that Olivia had his full support?
