It takes 80 chapters for them to get married, and then 1 chapter to deliver the baby. I seriously didn’t expect they’d kick him out of the womb so early RIP kid, your father doesn’t favor you and neither does the author.

It’s nice to have a story where the characters actually identify as gay, because they get to interact with other openly gay people and talk about social situations that arise from being closeted. And like, I get why the average yaoi isn’t interested or ready to write those topics, but it’s also kind of weird to always read about gay people in Japan as some one off exception, usually a “I’m only gay for one person” sorta thing.

Imagine finding out that your spouse has been secretly manipulating your kids to lie to you all their lives. That your kids were so afraid you’d find out the secret that they didnt want to be around you.

I’m not going to judge the queen for this weird single-identity plan (yet) but at the very least she could have told the father of her children, as he’d be the one most interested in interacting with them anyways.

The blonde princess was nice and all, but Seiden is truly the best friend Diarmuid and Bezriche could have had because LOOK AT HIM. He’s actually DOING something about this family’s messed up relationships - especially by telling Jaina that he would take her away if she wanted that, but also that her father is more than just the person she’s seen so far.

I’ve had the personal experience of someone telling me things about my parent that I cannot imagine them doing, because all my life they’ve been depressed. It didn’t make me forgive them for what they’ve done to me, but I was at least more informed in how I treated them.

Jaina doesn’t have to forgive Diarmuid, but Seiden is right to tell her about the kind of person Diarmuid used to be before his world was turned upside down. She deserves to know, and to make choices based on the fuller picture, and that’s what Seiden is acknowledging and trusting she will do.

A MC who is the hidden illegitimate child of royalty is not particularly new, but most of them are men. Having an illegitimate princess being taken seriously is new for me!

And the clear emotional turmoil the emperor has makes me curious. I want to know more about how the MC’s life came to this, how the emperor messed up, and what he’s going to do about it now that he knows.

Trying to find a full color manhwa about a top player who gets stuck in the mobile game he played but it’s someone else’s account. It’s pretty stressful - author is not afraid of sacrificing notable characters to raise the stakes - as he has to play the game from inside the game, where he can easily die but only the real player can make the decisions.

I think the last chapter I read was about him and two other teams having to raid and infiltrate a massive golem. Thanks in advance.

Lmao not Arsian getting bullied by his dad and his lil bro. Man gets no peace.

(And he shouldn’t, because his dad is right: for Camilla to marry him, Arsian’s gotta put in a lot of work!!!)

I swear I wanted to like it, but I still like the original art more. I also don’t get why they have to start from the very very beginning? Can’t they do a quick recap and catch up to the climax we were all waiting for? Doing it like this makes it even more clear that this version is still using the storyboard of the original, but with less care in the details.

The mother excusing her daughter’s torment as “childish quarrels” is really disgusting. Ma’am, out of everyone here YOU should know best what it’s like to be discriminated against for your appearance. If your lady friend is really that great of a person, talking to her son about why he’s a violent racist shouldn’t be a problem.

I’m not going to sub to this story, but if ANY character tries to excuse the bullying as “oh he just likes you”, I am mentally trying to explode them, okay.

I’m glad this fully finished, but were Sheera’s eyes always drawn like that…?

oof

Definitely the worst one from this author I’ve read yet. Soooo many plot contrivances added late in order to justify the ending.

I’m trying to find a complete, full color manhwa about an isekai’d blonde villainess whose smell is so sensitive that everyone’s B.O. makes her sick. One day she meets the clean-freak duke, who doesn’t smell because he takes baths obsessively, and he’s the only person she can actually breathe around so she jumps at the chance to marry him.

It was hilarious, and I’m so mad I can’t remember the name of it. ┗( T﹏T )┛help?

I don’t actually know her age, but just from her behavior I can confidently say she’s not mature enough to be in this relationship.

Anyone dating a single parent immediately has to reconcile that 1) they are not automatically the kid’s parent because they’re the parent’s partner and 2) there is a high likelihood the parent will have a complex relationship with another person. If you want someone who only has you in their heart, do not date a single parent.

And what does this girl do? The moment she gets a nuanced answer from the MC? She immediately takes it as a yes and takes it to its most extreme, using public pressure to force him into the relationship she wants. The irony is by doing this, she confirms that the MC is right: she’s too young and not ready to date a middle-aged man with history and baggage.

I was really thinking for a moment what if Eustace falls for the guilt trip? (or even just pretends to fall for it to “investigate” Ellensia) And as tired as that thought made me, I kept reading.

Look, I don’t like Eustace. He did fuck up for both his bio daughter and adopted daughter. But credit where credit’s due, he’s finally woken up and understands that his grief/guilt isn’t an excuse. If he let the guilt trip affect his duties aa king, he really would be the kind of person Ellensia is describing.

I’m not saying it’s impossible for no one to tell her old the prince is… BUT THE STORY NEEDS TO ACTUALLY GIVE US A REASON??? (╬ ̄皿 ̄)

Give us a reason why the FL can’t outright ask about his age. Or why she hasn’t picked up a newspaper that talks in detail about the prince. Or why her family and servants haven’t talked about this fiance of hers, like his job or achievements that no 10 yo could have. Buddy, a bad or cliche reason isn’t ideal but c’mon it’s better than nothing.

Sucks because I like the art a lot, but if the writing is going to leave such a huge plot hole in the middle of the story, there’s no way I can enjoy it.

I don’t hate this story, but there’s been a slow accumulation of my frustration from all these stories about talented women who are hounded by a shitty man. Because the solution is always another man, whether it’s a princely suitor or a ducal father or whatever.

“Only a man can fix problems made by a man.” Saying that it’s historically accurate is true, and I’m not arguing that. But I’m so tired of it being true.

Just. For once. ONE TIME. Let me read a fantasy where a woman can completely handle her shitty ex by herself and doesn’t need another man to boost her courage or status first.
