I don’t hate this story, but there’s been a slow accumulation of my frustration from all these stories about talented women who are hounded by a shitty man. Because the solution is always another man, whether it’s a princely suitor or a ducal father or whatever.

“Only a man can fix problems made by a man.” Saying that it’s historically accurate is true, and I’m not arguing that. But I’m so tired of it being true.
