HE DID THE MOON IS BEAUTIFUL CONFESSION! HOLY SHIT
For those of you who don't know, a famous poem in Japan basically says that lovers don't need to say, "I love you" to have their feelings conveyed, even a simple sentence, like "The moon is beautiful tonight" is a confession in and of itself. You'll see it across a huge variety of romance novels.
I've never read a xiaxia (did I use that right? ) manhua before. A lot of the recommendations seemed really cringy and harem tropey, so I wasn't interested, especially since I'd already had a taste of the typical no depth fl of Chinese manhuas. But Scum Villain and Heaven's Official Blessing seem interesting? Haven't read them yet fully. So I just want some nice starter packs.
I prefer emphasis on complex characters and good art, and obviously a strong plot. I hope someone can recommend me something. Thank you for your time!
Mo Dao Zu Shi (The Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation) is also from the same author as Heaven's Official Blessing & Scum Villain. It's a masterpiece too! (But tbh, I haven't read the manga adaptation, so I can only vouch for the series itself. I've read the novel, watched the anime and watched the Cdrama - yes, I was THAT obsessed with the storyline).
Another one is https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/soul_contract/ (but it hasn't been updated for a while).
Unfortunately, I haven't come across that many great manhua either.. :/
I have the terrible habit of doing stupid shit, so I purposefully went and read a particular one shot promo manhwa, where there was this female mc(when isn't there?) Who reincarnated into a novel villainess who is half dragon half human(sounds bad, I know), and after enduring neglect from the dragon side of family was sent to live with her father, the tower master(???) Who is also uninterested in her. I don't want to ruin the rest for anybody interested, but does anyone here know this manhwa? I was hoping( like a fool) that it might be updated. ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
Taekjoo is bruised everywhere, and even though the body language is "subtle", you can clearly see that he's afraid. I'm not fins of tape scenes, but authors who show how horrible it can br have my respect
