I know I am the type of person who would want my hypothetical future child to excel in a ton of things, because that's what I expect from myself too. But I know that them kiddos would hate me for it and that everyone isn't built for the way I treat myself.
Solution? Imma just not have kids. I know I'll be disappointed if they don't achieve some great shit in life and would think "Why did I give birth to this lil shit? Wasn't worth the investment. This mf is just a useless weight on earth"
More people need to get this noted into their goddamn heads. Don't have kids if you don't see your future or their future being nice after childbirth. Earn a truck load of money, use it for yourself, enjoy life
Everybody in life is moving forward despite the misfortune they've met along the course of their lives. MC finds it strange that the old man next door courts his grandma despite loving his deceased wife so much. The same thing goes for his grandma getting a wheelchair. In his head, he thinks everything is fine as long as it resembles how things used to be in the past. Grandma looks happy with the wheelchair, but he is the one causing a scene.
I hope this all makes him realize that groveling about the past does no good and that one must move forward with the flow of life.
This shit is kinda hilarious ngl
