I know Keiichi seems cold, but it's there in the eyes. It's really well done actually. It's very hard for artist to put life into drawings. He feelings aren't in what he says. It's in the way his eyes move.
At first they are stand offish. But as Shingo cries his feelings you see them soften very slightly. So try focusing on the art when reading this. Because the words don't tell the story the eyes do.
On another note. When Shingo was pick up. Totally reminded me of the movie "An Officer and a Gentleman." I was totally hearing.. Love lifts us up were we belong.
Did anyone notice.. That the brothers boyfriend was taking a picture with his phone! That was pretty funny!

ok I like read this chapter 3 times. At first you can see Kei surprise. But you got to remember he is a actor. And they are in a room full of people. So it may not be as harsh as we think!

Have! but it is like a couple in the story where by the seme don't want people to know that he is with the uke. It doesn't show much but there is. I forget what is the title but there is . Both of them are quite handsome. You search Korean drama gay couple, I think there should be.

Wouldn't be nice if all abuser were.. like "Hey I am being a monster! Let's break up." That doesn't happen people. (⊙…⊙ ) Yumi didn't learn anything this way. He didn't stand up. He didn't find the will to over come.
Anyways, I was really disappointed in this seem to be rushed ending. I am glad that he found love, but not sure that he earned it.
True that. To be honest, I don't really get why the characters are the way they are, except Mayama. But you're right. People who abuse their lover have a serious egoistic streak, would never blame themselves. And Yumi really did not learn anything or even acknowledge he was in an abusive relationship.
Would have liked it better if Yumi decided to leave on his own after realizing being with Kan-chan is unhealthy.
I knew when I posted this people wouldn't be happy with it.
There is a co-dependent relationship. This is why it takes so long for some people to get out of a abusive relationship.
On one side you have the controller aka the abuser. It's all about control and power. The reason why I said Ken-chan would not of been ok with him just leaving is.. cause in his mind Yumi belongs to him. This was shown when he freaked out when he was a hour late. That would not have just gone away.
On the flip side. Part of Yumi believe's he should be punished. It stems from self loathing, and low self esteem. Also the belief that this is love, and he will change.
These issues have to be fixed before Yumi can have a healthy relationship with anyone. I hope this clears up the why a little bit
I just wish there was a part were Aki got a happy ending too! :(
Well, Aki go side-lined but he was pretty important.. and he grew and there was no point telling in detail since it was obvious.. good for him.. :)

We all have our demons. But we have the choice of rising above them, or becoming a demon ourself. He choose to become the demon. He has no excuse!

Spot on! As they say, understanding someone's reasons for being the way they are or behaving the way they do does not excuse it.
