He’ll "apologize", but in the most black flag / Ilay fashion—so don’t expect anything resembling a normal apology. For the character, it’s a HUGE step (especially compared to his past self, who would have NEVER, NEVER gotten over someone else having done less to him). But let’s be real: for us common folk, it’s what you’d call—for a BLACK FLAG—scraping the bare minimum of an apology with the tip of your pinky toe. And that’s coming from someone who LOVES Ilay inspite of themselves, so… do with that information what you will.

They use AI?

Desirescans, MythToons, Kaizenscans all use AI is what I've heard.

Just look at the credits, its always “name of scan” “name of scan” “name of scan”

Actual groups credit individuals and wouldnt be pumping out 60 slop chapters a minute

Doesn't mean we can't exercise basic etiquette. Real scan groups don't upload over each other or upload duplicate chapters to this degree. this is all just a grift by kaizen, desire scans and myth to trick people into paying them for "early access" to more ai translated chapters on their websites.

I love to read free shit like next person, but at the same time they are taking up space from other scan groups that work hard getting chapters out for us for free!! I wouldn’t mind to pay a real person for their hard work.
Now someone who is profiting off AI and saying it all them is misleading, the most they probably did was take a pic and told chatgbt to translate it and called it day. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

If someone translates something with ai and then gets PAID for it I'm gonna complain because it isn't fair to the og artist and to the other scanalation groups that actually care about a good translation and to share the work. Yes we are reading illegally but it doesn't mean we want the worst possible thing for everyone

Buddy, pal, bestie, did you know actual translation groups dont get paid? Its cause thats when you get into really being unethical.

Cause the whole reason why piracy is justifiable is cause the people who pirate were never gonna pay for it in the first place, thus author gets no money, translators get no money. These ai groups that are convincing people to “buy ahead” are making money, this is when money is actively not going to the author.

Also even if you dont care about the ethics of it, is it not annoying as hell to get 4 notifications for the same series and none of them being a new chapter and is just ai slop? Like especially cause some of these groups upload after an official or fan translation is posted

No spaces OR punctuation, meaning that if there are multiple sentences you have to distinguish when one starts and another ends ToT

and i dont get why ML just wont adjust that about himself for MC like??? idk if i were him and i knew it was bothering my bf id adjust the way id type and speak fuller and clearer sentences in text if thats what made him comfortable and besides its not THAT big and hard to do, its just text but maybe im just too much of a “respecting my partners boundaries” type of person as someone who also has boundaries she wants to be respected
