ngl i think it’s kinda crazy how ppl will come into the comment section of this series and talk down on the uploaders for posting patreon content while ALSO READING OTHER ILLEGALLY UPLOADED SERIES ON THIS SITE. like i am well aware of the immoral aspects of reading stuff illegally on this site and if someone who reads these series legally calls me out on that they would be 100% in the right. but what i’m NOT down with is ppl who are actively reading illegal uploads trying to act all high and mighty and criticize the people who upload this specific series. yall need to realize that u aren’t any better than the rest of us, so stop acting like u are.
(also to be clear this isn’t me advocating for not supporting the author, obv joining their patreon is the best thing to do. i just find the hypocrisy of these commenters really irritating)
Because korean comics are made by rich corporations and an artist from patreon is just a normal person? its the difference like listening to illegal taylor swift song vs taking money out of a paper cup from someone who is busking on the street...
being managed by a successful corporation does not mean the comic is made by a rich corporation BOTH korean and western comics are made by normal people who likely do not get paid very well for their efforts in the work that they put out considering the many scandals that have occurred regarding poor artist compensation. ur analogy is awful
you do realize that the people that work for big corporations do not make as much money as the corporations themselves right? if you think that these authors are taylor swift levels of wealthy you genuinely need to educate yourself and learn how these companies (and capitalism in general) work
