I haven't read the comment but I read the novel (first half) and she is FL, but it's slow, and relevant to the plot. Mc needs to experience all types of colors ie emotions so love makes sense to be one of them. And with his personality I don't think he'll fall in over with someone he met accidentally but someone that travels with him.

im ending this at chapter 60. its so frustrating how she still believes shes in a story and doesnt see them as people who can think for themselves. there has been NO indicator whatsoever that the original novel she read has any compelling force on the real characters she's meeting. none! im not gonna continue reading.
