I actually LOVE this story the mc is figuring shit out and actually doing something abt em, the mom isn’t dead but ain’t a saint either (she can go to hell for all I care) Mc basically has a second dad (tower master) the older brothers (cousins) wanting to be her favorite and being cute with the ML saying there’s a ranking, her deciding to prevent the older brothers death. Everything is checking off my boxes and it’s so interesting to read. A grandpa is In the story who is nice AND a kind aunt? Oooo yesss I am SEATEDDD

From what I recall of the novel, it’s actually worse. There were a total of 13 souls summoned to play the role of “Edith”, because the author was afraid of letting the story continue past her main character’s “and the married and lived happily ever after”. In other words, the author kept resetting the story so that she could remain young, beautiful and loved, while a random stranger’s soul got forced to take the role of “Edith”.
In truth the Manhwa isn’t doing the story justice in terms of the characters real motives, goals and personalities. Not sure why I keep popping back, but I think after chapter 84, I’m calling quits, because they’ve missed the point of the dagger scene and are lining up to skip a (granted minor, but kind of important) story arc
I hate those tropes where they sleep with other people just cause they assume their love was unrequited it pisses me off so bad why do authors do that and then he compares the person he’s sleeping with to other men like bro wtf what kinda behavior is this

Yall do realize Kersten brought this onto himself right? Every single life Ophelia had was brought down by that man regardless of her wants or wishes. He condemned her to the worst hell he could ever put onto some body. All with absolutely no remorse over how she felt abt it just cause he wanted her to be alive. At first I assumed it was a romantic act, like those reincarnated villainess manwha’s, now it’s obvious it was an unhealthy obsession. He didn’t love her. He loved the control he had on her. OK, BESIDES THE FRIGGIN GROOMING, this manga is just so black and white (in more ways than one XD). These characters are so damn bland and narrow minded and I've counted like a dozen yaoi cliches here, I could LIST THEM OUT. WTF???? DID I READ.
